Other UPS just changed my Delivery date to Monday

I wonder if they sent out an additional truck today, as my local truck leaves out for delivery at the latest 7 AM and my phone wasn’t even there then. But it showed “out for delivery” at 9 AM.
I hope so! My tracking still hasn't updated to reflect it being in CA yet and it's now almost 7am. 
My delivery date still shows 9/21 but now just says "In Transit" no longer "In Transit: On Time"

Mine got to LA 20 minutes ago! This is such a nail biter! lol. Surprised it didn't go to Ontario. Well, I'm having it shipped to my work about 30 miles from LA. Closer than Ontario would've been. Keeping my fingers crossed it still gets here today!

I have one already loaded on the truck for delivery and the other just left Ontario. Hopefully it will make it as well. If not Monday delivery it is. Its still showing delivery for today though. Who knows at this point.
UPS just updated and both phones are on the truck for delivery. It's going to be a long day as we usually don't get deliveries until early evening unless UPS has a truck just delivering Apple products. They did that last year so who knows.
Apple's site is not updated at all. It shows a delivery delay on one phone, but UPS shows it loaded on the delivery truck <sigh>

I've tried that in the past but the way their truck is packed determines the route they take. They would have to search through all the boxes to find yours.
Yeah...That's why I am not tracking him down. Also because I don't want to be that stalker psycho who wants his phone now instead of 3 hours from now.
Getting arrested will definitely delay your delivery...

My guy was like 3 blocks from my house but turned away to go to my local Apple store. Been sitting there for over 40 min now.
My Choice and when it is out for Delivery you will get a link for "Follow my Delivery" in your tracking information.

Some folks are saying that they do not have truck tracking, even when logged into MyChoice UPS. It's possible that they do not have locators on all of their vehicles or drivers.
I sometimes get those updates and sometimes I don’t. It seems random even though we always have the same driver. Perhaps it’s still a beta?
Perhaps they’ll never roll it out fully anyway, the union’s contract is up soon and I know the drivers feel the tracking thing is a safety issue so maybe they’ll make killing it part of their contract negotiations.
Either way my last update still shows China.
Only time it shows up for me is when it's actually starting it's delivery and not just on the truck, but yes, it's inconsistent. My directions were just for how to do it if you have it available.
It must actually still be there since the UPS guy just dropped off the dog food and didn't have the iPhone on the truck.
Mine did eventually switch back to today after all the kerfuffle last night. But then: my truck tracking wasn't working. BUT THEN: the person showed up just before I had to leave for my therapist appointment and work after that. Had just enough time to do an unboxing video (I'm making a video every day that I'm 40, which is for another two weeks, or I wouldn't have bothered).
Glad I stayed up to preorder for launch day delivery.. Just got off the phone with UPS after noticing my tracking said that my street number was incorrect even though it shows my correct address on the tracking. Customer service rep told me somehow it ended up going to the wrong city so I won’t get it until tomorrow. Told them to hold it at the customer center and I’ll come get it so it doesn’t end up back in China. WTG people! 
UPs has officially lost my package. They said it is no longer in their system. WTF? I wa transferred to international shipping and they have no record on file.
I guess I’ll cancel the order and wait until I can get to the Apple Store an hour away.

Mine was all great and well until 8:45. Pretty bummed, and actually went to the Apple Store to just buy it or another capacity/color to hold me over (was REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO IT), but they were also sold out.
Yes this is UPS's fault. But I think that Apple is foolish to ship these as late as possible. Have your local distribution centers stocked up and things ready to ship from with in the US. I think it would reduce errors or allow more time for any mistakes in routing to be corrected before launch.
