Love the boxes but I do miss the plastic around the boxes for protection. Hopefully, our iPhones box doesn't show all beat up. Where is the dang bubble wrap.
I would barely open that plastic wrapper just enough to to get the box out. And after all was unboxed, I’d put the box back in the plastic in case I sold the phone or whatever. A friend bought my 11P last year and I had the original sticker that came on the phone (put it back on) then packed it all up and into that plastic wrapper. He loved it cause it was still like getting a brand new phone for him - unboxing and all.

Maybe this is Apple tricking us... Maybe they want you to sell your iPhone to them and don't sell them privately. So they came up with this idea.

The last iPhone I had delivered to me was the 11 Pro and it was packaged pretty well. I took a video at the time to show someone how smartly it was packed up. No bubble wrap needed.

Yeh all the Apple Watch bands and iPhones I get are packaged like that! Such a good way to keep it secure and not be banged around. Wonder if they’re gonna get rid of this plastic too!?!?

Yes, unfortunately, Hopefully, last year doesn't repeat itself in 2021.

What about you?
Yup still in processing. Was looking back on the threads last year and we both got the preparing to ship on the first night. This will obviously come in waves and I'll bet we get scans over night or something. At least I'm hoping... lol

You know everyone is going to be hitting up the Apple store App to check the status... the first thing they will do when they wake up.

my graphite is still processing but the gold is preparing for shipping. very interesting.
That is very interesting.. what storage are your phones? The reason I ask, is because most of the "preparing for shipping" phones are coming from the 256gb group. Not sure if I've seen any 512 ones....
