The code didn’t work, but I ordered anyway. Trying out the clear soft case. Not a fan of having the hard material around the edges since I like to remove my cases fairly often. Looking forward to it!

Not sure why Apple decided to do worldwide launch this year instead of waves like before, a lot of people didn't get what they wanted

It may be a nod to the importance of the Chinese market or just making things more fair globally. I'd love to see unit numbers and revenues by country but I don't think that it will happen.

If I remember past times when I had a trade in kit owed to me, it didn't show up as preparing to ship until later on almost when it was release day to get my phone.

If I remember correctly they normally spend the time from pre-order until delivery talking about their contracts and trying to get money off them well they did last year which was good because it saved me like 50% on my bill thanks to various discounts and credits and made the EE sim only plans slightly more reasonable. I’m normally in the UK thread but not this year since I’m temporarily stateside so joining y’all

I am now at Preparing to Ship (VZ Pro Max Sierra Blue 256GB) though the Tracking number hasn't populated in UPS yet.

You can change it to be held at the UPS hub and go pick it up they would have probably found it faster

Yep, that got changed this year in my area too. Sad thing is my Customer Service Center is only a block from my house. I always have my phones held there each year for free and pick up right at 8:00 AM on Friday morning. Now, the customer service center isn't an option and they want to charge money to have it held at an access point, which delays by a day in most cases. BS.

Before going to bed last night I sent out a massive internal email to the International Aviation department to Cargolux. Cargolux Airlines will be carrying out our iPhones. Transporting it from China to Anchorage. I am very happy to report I got a response from a personnel name Kevin.

Below is the set and confirmed internal/confidential schedule for the flight availability over the weekend. Expecting Departure Scan status based on the set/finalized schedule below.

I have a feeling for the majority of us On 09/21/2021 Flight 9761 CGO > ANC will be carrying our iPhones. It is scheduled for tomorrow.

The point is I don’t even fill 64gb so why on earth would I pay an extra $100 for empty storage space. T-mobile Magenta Max + 2TB iCloud storage is perfect for me. Vastly different use cases amongst us iCrackheads.

I’m only using 24gb on my 32gb iPhone se 1st gen. I ordered 128gb and should last me another 5+ years
