A national holiday based on eating moon cakes but I do not know about day off.
Perhaps you already knew this, but there's also the direct wifi transfer feature which in my experience has been very fast and efficient. Seems like a way better option than waiting for everything to upload/download to icloud...

Well, one feature is that you can choose a 2-hour delivery window. I get a lot of packages from UPS, so this might be handy.

It's a National holiday for most (China, Korea, Japan). Most business are closed. Most travel to their hometown and stay with family.
I did, and I normally like to start off with a clean device, rather than a full transfer. Just thought it's nice to have an option to just drop all data onto iCloud and move it elsewhere other than an iPhone.

Most people have Mid-Autumn Festival off in Chinese-speaking countries. My family is from Taiwan and they usually have at least the day off. However, since Apple is a huge client for Foxconn, I'm sure they're paying workers overtime to work through the holiday and deliver iPhones on 9/24!

It looks like I'm part of the second group: the 6:05 crowd. We'll see if my cohort catches up and flies with the 4:50 leaders of the pack. Pro Max, 512 GB in grey. Destination is OAK on the way to San Francisco, but it always go from Anchorage to Louisville before heading back to this coast. Logistics can make me scratch my head. Apple still shows as preparing to ship, even though I'm in the same place as others who have already shipped according to UPS. Apologies for the small picture, but I am replacing because I recently found out that the iPhone X is, in fact, not water proof when galavanting with my daughter in the lazy river at the water park. So, I've been using the standby iPhone SE 1st gen that we have as a back up and the battery lasts about 20 min. Looking forward to a new device and will never make the same mistake again of trusting advertising about waterproofing.

Don’t feel too bad. My XS’s touch stopped working a few weeks ago. New screen didn’t fix it. I was told it’s a motherboard issue. I’ve been using an old iPhone 5c and my iPad mini 2 in the meantime.
I think I might just need a holiday after this week..😜
