You gotta click into the page. Click on "View Pricing" and it'll allow you to select your options and save it for preorder.
The Saving function has been live all day. It's the iUP pre-approval that has been down and limited.

If I currently am in the Verizon upgrade program from the 12 last year, I can only pre-order through Verizon correct?

I noticed the device payment program seems to now be 30 months instead of 24, but still is offering an upgrade every year? How does that work? Do you have to make 15 payments to upgrade instead of 12?

I think you can pre-order through apple.com. Not sure but I don’t think why you can’t.

Go big or go home. I can’t believe about the price… it’s 1 month of mortgage payment in Las Vegas.
Ha. There’s no way I’d be spending that much just on a phone. Let alone, I only been utilizing 40 gb Out of 256 GB. I could go with 256 gb again this year. But I think i’ll go with 512 GB since I have a new addition to my family so will be taking a lot more pictures.

Seems like you can't because I am still technically in a 24 month contract with Verizon? When I upgrade annually, I have to send the current phone back to them. I'm not sure how to answer whether or not I have a phone to trade in with Apple

Looks like they will give me $350 trade-in for my 7+. We may be buying a 13 after all.

For those who saved their pre-orders last year - how smooth was the process? Did it make things go quicker?

Thanks for everyone's help! I've been pre-approved too now. For any AT&T customers, did you see this screen? We won't be given physical SIM cards now? I just checked my iPhone 12 Pro and it has a physical SIM card. Hope this doesn't cause any problems! 😮

Was able to get my pre-order started in the Apple Store app for the 13 Pro Max Sierra Blue using my Apple Card.
have a calendar reminder to finish at 5AM this Friday!
Hopefully it’s smooth process. For some reason I have a feeling it won’t be 😂

Anyone in the US using the financing option, does that pre pre reserve the phone for you? Or does the phone not actually get reserved until Friday at 5am PDT when you place the actual pre order for the phone with the finance? (If that makes sense).

Here in Canada, we normally only have one option through Apple.ca and that is to purchase outright at an outrageous price ($1300+ CDN). This is the first year that I've been aware that Apple has offered financing through Apple.ca. Interested if any other Canadians are considering the financing option.

For myself, with a trade in with my 12 Pro Max 128GB in excellent condition, Apple would give me $820 CDN, therefore I could get the iPhone 13 Pro Max 128GB for $729 CDN. With the financing option, this would work out to approx $128/month for 6 months I believe it said. Any other Canadians considering this route? Normally I would just purchase outright and sell privately every year.
