In the 80's I was on an Air Force C-141 from Japan to the Philippines. We were doing our landing approach when the #2 engine exploded. Almost all the passengers were asleep (it was nighttime) and I think I'm the only one who noticed. When we landed I waited until everyone else got off the plane and I asked the crew chief what happened. He said something like, "Oh yeah, we had a generator explode on that engine."

These planes have four engines, so we weren't in any great danger, but the explosion was impressive!

I just checked now and I dont even have the option of choosing my local CC, only options are for Access Points or UPS stores. I think I've noticed this with other packages this year as well. Odd that the option has been removed.

I've run into the same thing the past couple of years, but I always manage somehow to find my local CC in a list to have it held. I wish I could remember how I do it, though!

I’m with the 4:50 crew and I think UPS App/MyChoice is just taking awhile to get updated. I requested my packages be held a few hours ago and was approved. This shows on Village Drapes but not on UPS MyChoice yet.
