Still deciding between going Max this year or staying with the regular size(had Plus/Max for 7 and XS series, went regular for X, 11, and 12 Pro). It'll be 512gb and Silver for me though otherwise.

The Pro & Pro Max have identical cameras this year, so the 13 Pro is a good bet if you like the size/weight of your 12 Pro.

Depending on where you live in relation to a UPS Center, you could always have it held there and pick it up... There have been times that it arrived but was delivered the next day by local truck.

Also some may be shipped via FedEx....
I have done this every year...held at Customer Center, but UPS has stopped it now...at least in my area. My service center isn't even listed in the options anymore. Only the business areas that usually delay your order if you have it held there. And now they charge to do it...has always been free.

Oh, well.

Love that option to pickup at UPS hub.
Here in Lubbock, TX, I always seem to be the first in the door as few minutes before the hub ‘officially’ open, so the line is behind me.
I quit ordering from my carrier, who I work for, 3 years ago.
Tracking is better here.

Ready for the pre order, and get the phone on a plane.
My phone will ask: “What’s the movie on this flight?” Haha

Actually best way is to use the Apple Store app on your current phone.
Mmm I'm still on Android so not possible. I have my order saved and ready to submit on my apple account so hopefully it's not that bad tomorrow morning.

Yep, same. I ended up going with the Sierra Blue. Hopefully it is shiny in person (like it is in the pics), and not glossy. I feel like the graphite is too faded for me.
Awesome choice!

Gotta say this forum is one of the few places where I can dig into phone color and size questions. My family and friends are generally puzzled by more than two questions…”uh yeah, I guess that’s a good color too if you want it” (end of convo).

You people get it lol!! ??

Decisions, decisions!

If you don't take your case off frequently, then the clear case is a great option for showing off the phone's color. I used to have one for my 12 Pro, but the bottom edges cracked after switching cases after a few weeks. Just keep that in mind.

The silicone case has a lot more grip and works with the new Find My feature for the Apple Wallets, if that's important to you.

I just chatted with Apple support, and the technician said it would be possible to preorder tomorrow and designate for pickup in store on 9/24. I don't recall that ever being an option, so I hope this isn't bad info.

First time preordering through Apple. 13 PM 1TB Graphite. I'm just worried about UPS being the point of failure with deliveries, as I've had some terrible problems with them in the past, and I have travel plans on 9/25.

I also have a case and a MagSafe charger arriving today, not that I'm getting excited or anything...
I never seem to have issues with UPS but I guess that also depends on location. I normally like to request a hold for pick up so no issues there.

The confirmation e-mail that I received after setting up my pre-order states "you'll be able to review delivery and pickup details before you check out during pre-order." I've also seen many reports of customers ordering previous iPhones for in-store pickup.

Depending on where you live, you should have to option to choose to pick up in-store and select the time. Or have it delivered to you and once you get tracking then request a hold for pick up at CC. The in-store pick up option was previously.

Right now, I have the graphite 256gb pro max ready to go, but I am so indecisive about that Sierra Blue. Can't decide if it's more on the feminine side or not. (I'm a guy, obviously....) Thoughts? Would probably be rocking a black case anyway.

In the interest of full disclosure, I never thought that I'd wear pink shirts, until my wife got me one. When I tried it on, I actually liked the way it looked, especially with a blue tie. If you like the color, go for it!

My last two major tech purchases were shipped by UPS. Both times, on the expected delivery date I received attempted delivery notices on my phone when I was sitting at home. I ran outside and there was no UPS truck in sight. With the iPad I ordered from Amazon, they said I could pick it up the next day at the UPS distribution center, but after spending $90 in cabs to go pick it up, they said it was still on the truck. I didn't receive it until 4 days after the expected delivery date. Fortunately, Amazon credited me for the cabs after I submitted receipts. With a Dell tower, they said it was being diverted to a UPS store and to pick it up there after 6 p.m. Not the UPS Store in my neighborhood, within walking distance. After spending $70 in cabs to go pick it up, they said it was still on the truck. I received it 2 days after the expected delivery date. All I got from UPS was "We're sorry for your inconvenience." So, yeah, not a fan of UPS.

I want to get the baby blue phone but I need a case, anyone know of a good clear case that wont yellow in a few months?
It's a little pricey, but Peel cases are durable and do not yellow over time. I've used Peel exclusively for their cases and e2e screen protectors for years even though I did not use a case with the 12PM nor will I for the 13PM.

Sometime today... Make sure you update your Apple profile. The address/payment card is up-to-date as the Apple Store will be shutting down for updates. Once you see the screen below things cannot be change until Apple Store is back up online.
