I'm learning a lot about package tracking here. Apple Store app still says "preparing to ship" but in my UPS My Choice account, I was able to find the shipment and tracking number. In Kentucky yesterday!
Yeah, Apple doesn't update their data to "shipped" until the order has received it's "Import Scan" in Louisville, KY. After that scan happens, then they update their data to reflect that the order shipped. Logistics makes sense, but at times, it doesn't make any sense whatsoever, lol.

What!!!!!!!!!!! I just got my departure scan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let's go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me tooo!!!!! We are destined to be the 9:20 gang forever!! Then my 9:20pm changed to 9:30pm. We are MOVING!!!!

Gotta say my in store order has been very good for my fragility.....I was one of those on that crazy fiasco last year...even I was freaking out for the people left behind up until a few hours ago....WELL DONE FOR GETTING OUT OF THERE

Ive been tracking my 128 13p Sierra from ZhengZhou since Sunday PM (6:05 crew) to awake to ANC scans this morning. Phew, Sweet!

However, my wife’s phone 128 13p Silver which hasn’t had ZERO movement since label creation, just updated with an origin scan in PA, USA 🧐

We are located in So Cal
I love Ladera Ranch! We almost bought a house down there a few years back.

I can see my redacted tracking info but not the entire tracking # from UPS my choice. Apple is yet to spill the beans for me!!

If you're using a dev tools panel in a Chrome-based browser or Safari, you can try searching this XPath in the Find bar

/html/body/div[1]/div[3]/div/div/div/div/div/form/input[4]

The tracking number is embedded in the element that it selects. Worked for me in both Safari and Brave.

As ATX_wapiti mentioned, I think this will only work if you see one single package in transit.

Yay! So happy you were able to track it down! I am just happy to help other people who are super excited for their phones to show up on Friday :D
LOL, not sure how to Dm on here, I am so close but can't figure it out in all this inspect element code!

If I don’t see it in my choice, will this still work when looking it up via reference number? I shipped it to my offfoce and not the address in my choice so it’s not showing up for me.

Yes, but you have to search via reference using this tool: https://wwwapps.ups.com/WebTracking/OnlineTool

I'm in the same boat where my phone is en route to a commercial address. Just be sure to limit the ship date so that only one package displays. Then, open the dev tools and search for that XPath. The tracking number is in that string and begins with '1Z'.

Whew…one worry down. On its way to KY or should be there already. Now to the even bigger worry. We have a “pandemic” of porch pirates who follow UPS and FedEx trucks. Amazon has worked to solve this through their app showing how many stops until delivery so we can be waiting. InstaCart, Door Dash, Uber and Lyft also. Not so the others. We never know when they will show up and the loads will be huge. I no longer drive so I can’t request delivery to CC. It will be a wild time on Friday!

I think it all has to do with customs and when Apple USA actually takes possession of the phones from Foxconn
