I’ve used Apples trade in program for many years for iPhones, iPads, and Apple watches. I’ve not had slightest problem with it. I did learn early on to take a photo of the shipping label before letting it go.

I also take photos of my trade in item, from all different angles.

Ooh, I'm looking at my iPhone order in the Apple Store and the Early Upgrade Payment has vanished. I guess Apple's system must have updated and they see that I made a payment on 9/14? Also, the pending charge from Apple that I got last Friday is gone from my credit card? I guess I'll get charged the full amount today or Friday? View attachment 1841117

I actually asked Apple about this they simply told me the charges for both taxes and early upgrade payment were authorizations. Expect to be fully charged when the status changes to shipped on apples store page.
