quick question for those backing up for tomorrow's new iphone....
I typically do all my backups local to my itunes/music, as I only have the basic icloud storage (5gb). Does anyone know if I'll have any issues with losing data when I restore it on to my iPhone 13 (as I am trading in the phone where all the data was created)? I'm particularly concerned about my Whatsapp message history.....

~7:50 this morning, my Shipping and iUP emails rolled in. While I wasn't worried, on any level, I have found it interesting there has been zero tracking info shared until this morning.
I may be misremembering, but didn't we normally receive tracking info earlier on in the delivery week, which led to the wacky "tracking flights out of Zhengzhou" game?
Anyway, my device is in Louisville, and now I can see all of the prior shipping activity. Again, interesting.

Who else has preparing to ship on apple.com but everything else points to it shipped because import scan is there email and text message says shipped

I cannot speak to WhatsApp directly... In my experience, I feel non-Apple app usage histories get hosed on my upgrades.YMMV. Good luck!

I STRONGLY suggest you invest in the iMazing app. It will back up EVERYTHING and do a complete restore. Available for Windows and Mac. There is nothing better (and no, I'm not affiliated with them).
