ZOMG Apple is sooo cutting it close....shipping something the day before they say it will be there....They sure are sure of themselves!

Got the tracking # email from apple. My order updated. I even see it now in my "Shipped" app. And yet, it's still not coming up in UPS My Choice 🤣

Same here. Got email from Apple and Apple Store app says shipped, but no import scan. Was one of the first to arrive in KY.
Same for me. Been in KY since 3:30 a.m. on the 21st. But, the only two UPS flights to my area today aren’t until later this afternoon. So, it might be that the one’s needing to go on earlier flights are getting import scans first? I don’t really know. Just guessing. 🤷‍♀️

Question for folks. Is anyone planning on *not* restoring from a backup? I’m actually looking forward to starting with a clean slate this time around and setting up as new. I can’t help but imagine a lot of software gunk hanging around in my backups that I’ve kept up with since my iPhone 5, lol.

Well I tried to go through the pickup options and only gave me the UPS store or other retailers like CVS. Guess mine must be closed due to Covid

I STRONGLY suggest you invest in the iMazing app. It will back up EVERYTHING and do a complete restore. Available for Windows and Mac. There is nothing better (and no, I'm not affiliated with them).
I haven't used that app in years but even a few years ago it was great. I know it's come a long way since then. Out of curiosity, can you choose individual things to backup/restore? For example, if I wanted to setup my phone as essentially new but only wanted photos and one or two apps (with their data), can I do that?

I chose not to pre order the iPhone 13 Pro Max, keeping my iPhone 12 Pro Max. I'm suffering from withdrawal symptoms. I miss hanging out here and tracking my iPhone as it makes its way through the system. I think I'll get the new Apple Watch though and I'll be back for the iPhone 14 Pro Max (?) next year.

I tend to do that so I can see all the "new" without older stuff getting in the way, then after about 3 hours of being mad at not remembering what apps I had and my layouts I'll say screw it and do a restore :) Plus getting ringtones on there is a BITCH compared to Android.

Got an import scan from Louisville Kentucky at 9:46 AM so I do have a feeling my phone which was part of the 450 crew has been in Louisville Kentucky since yesterday will be shipping out to Los Angeles this afternoon or in about five hours or whatever it is on one of the flights that I listed in the prior post.

I believe so, never tried, but it's so freaking loaded with features I'd be amazed if it was "all or nothing". I think they have a trial too, so you can always run it without paying for it <ahem>
