More than likely they’re able to single out individual product being shipped electronically and tag it to you. It’s amazing how logistics has changed through the years. More than likely, one location just lost a device allocated to them, but in the eyes of Apple, they sold a device while it was still in the air.

How are you enjoying your first year tracking with us? Damn that you got the last minute route, but it’s still much more entertaining and exciting than grabbing something off the shelf. Kinda appreciate all the stuff that goes through Day 1 shipping.
