My phone just touched ground in Oakland. Too bad I can't drive there to pick it up today, it's only 15-20 mins from me. I'll have to patient and wait until tomorrow. I just put in the change to have it held at a UPS store near me.

It’s crazy how my phone can travel from ZZ to Korea to Alaska to Kentucky to Montana within about a 24-30 hour window, every year. Without fail.

I haven't. I got one e-mail last night saying they got my request to hold it and would process it. Usually, in the app or detailed tracking, it shows your Customer Request or an Exception entered - then that a "Hold at CC" type entry is made. I'm starting to think I should have not messed with it and let the truck come as it may...I've done this before and my hold processed while my delivery was on the truck. So the truck person didn't deliver it and just drove around all day with it. I then had to meet said truck at 6pm-ish once it got off-loaded back at the CC. I tried calling today, but couldn't seem to get a human on the other end.

This is concerning and yeah, I remember it saying “exception” in the past. Guess we’ll see what happens by the morning..fun times ahead.

You can do a live chat with Apple and they will give you your full tracking number. I did it earlier today.

Thank you. Considering the massive amount of people who pre-ordered I didn't want to hassle anybody. Everything sort of "turned on" today when in the morning I got a text from Apple and then my shipping confirmation email. Was really impressed with everyone last night sharing their access to flight information. It really gave me hope that things would work out. Again, appreciate your help!
