Anyone else in the OC or other parts of SoCal have their phones going to Gardena facility after LA?
I requested mine to be held for pickup in Aliso Viejo, its kinda odd that they are going through Gardena.

My tracking is saying “rescheduled delivery” now which hopefully means I will be able to pick it up from the CC in the morning.

I’m there too…just updated, although the scans were from 7:30 and 7:50pm - so about an hour lag. Gardena is my home CC, so it’s perfect for me. Yeah, Aliso Viejo is a 50-60 min trip from here. They have all night to move it closer to your pickup. I think Gardena is the closest hub from LAX is probably why it routed there first…maybe one truck from LAX to Gardena, and so on.
My other reason for posting this was for those of us who put in e-mail requests to be held at a CC for pickup. So my request was never part of this detailed tracking until just tonight (2100 PDT 9/23). I requested this yesterday, 9/22 and only did it once - but it looks like they put that notice for hold three times in the tracking. Hopefully I can show up there at opening and pick it up - and it DOESN’T get on the truck.

That’s interesting. Yeah I’ve never seen it go through Gardena for me as Aliso Viejo is my home CC, but I guess we’ll see. The ”hold for pickup” just reflected on the tracking for me within the last 30 mins too, even though I placed the request over chat this morning.

You are an admirable and great leader. Waiting for everyone else to get where they need to go before you take care of your own business. I still think that there's a fair chance that you're the first one to receive yours in Pacific time.

I never thought about challenges for Hawaii on launch day. Apple does better than I thought if all 50 states get launch day laughter. I figured it would be for just the continental USA. Now, what we need is a member who can describe his or her frustration being an Alaska resident and having to see his or her phone come from China through Korea and Alaska to Kentucky, only to backtrack to Alaska. That's kinda funny in an incredible resource wasteful way.
