I am ready to join in the fun!!!. Wow one hour 28 minutes, I listened but did other things till they go to the 15 Pro.Not interested in trading in or either of my two Watches, just do not see enough change in them but I do want the new 15PM. I love that the starting model starts at 256gb which was what I wished I would have ordered last year. I was actually shocked no prices increases.
I am now semi retired only working one job so ready to travel with everyone for our phone arrivals. Just have to get up super early Friday to get my order in. I do have a question I remember 2 yrs ago we were able to set up everything in advance on the Apple site then just had to click it on Friday. Will they do that again?

And there it is. The dongle we have all been waiting for. $29 for a Lightning to USB-C adapter.
I got my order in for the new 9 apple watch. I have the 7 so I'm excited to get an upgrade. I'm also thrilled to have the silver option back. The starlight is pretty but silver will always be my favorite.
I think I'm going to order some of the new FineWoven cases for the 15 Pro. My only device right now that has USB-C is my iPad. I guess I should get a new charging cable too, I think the longer ones versus the short ones in the box.

I told myself I’d go with blue this year…..then I saw the black titanium. Now I’m torn!!! 🤣🤣

My Pro Max 1TB only got $650 from Apple financing (e.g., using my Apple Car and trading in). If I want to get higher than that, I have to go to T-Mobile for $1000 back and finance it through them.
I'm definitely getting the 15 Pro Max in 512gb. The only thing I'm having trouble deciding is black titanium or natural. I like the blue, but I've had the pacific blue 12 pro max and want to switch it up.
If I decide to give up my purple 14PM... the natural or the white. The blue looks nice too, though.

Can you believe it? It’s September already and the iPhone 15 line-up was just announced. Yes, It’s that time of the year again. It’s time to place your orders for the new iPhone 15 this coming Friday. I hope you have your passport ready. The rumor is we might be traveling from India this year and not China. I’m not too sure how accurate this is but multiple sources confirmed this. Maybe some of us will be coming from China and some of us will be coming from India. Personally, I really hope this year our international travel itinerary will be coming from India. (If all this is true. This will be the first time ever we will be coming from India). Regardless of the traveling destination, are you ready?

Once our orders move to process we should start seeing some movement to 'Preparing For Shipment' over the weekend. This usually happens Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon (PST time).

Once this happens you should be able to get details on your phone and let the tracking begin!
Here are some notes to help track orders:
If your phone status has changed to "Shipped", you can view the invoice on the Apple site.
That invoice has the serial number on it.
Go to Apple.com, then pick the ORDERS page (the little "shopping bag" icon at the far right on the home page... go to your orders page). Now, login, find your iPhone order... and click on Print All Invoices to see your shiny new iPhone serial number.

When you see the time that your flight leaves China (make sure that the UPS or FedEx info is showing it per China time, or do the math), you can usually narrow it down
For those of you that are not familiar with doing this here's how you can check your order.
Go to UPS's website. Go to tracking. Go to track by reference number. Put the cell phone number associated with your order as the reference number. Put your ZIP Code. Put your country. Hit the track package button. If your phone has shipped it'll come up on UPS's website.
Our Main Goal is to hit the "Import Scan" from Louisville Kentucky. This is our last stopping point before we will say our final goodbyes until we all meet again next September 2023.
The story behind the famous "Import Scan" UPS: Long story short, This is a final approval scan that dictates your iPhone will arrive the next day, guaranteed!
According to UPS, The shipment has cleared import procedures in the receiving country.

What does our tracking look like in the future?
This tracking below only applies to Las Vegas, Nevada. However, we will all be traveling together from (Zhengzhou, China to Lousiville, Kentucky, USA) until we see the "Import Scan" in Louisville, Kentucky. Keep in mind some of us may be left behind in China. It happens every year. (It happened to me last year and the year before). Hopefully, this won't be the case this year. After all, goes well, we will be separated to our final destination, and from there expect a final "Departure Scan" to hit your destination airport.

What to do When You Receive an Import Scan UPS Tracking Update?
Generally, receiving this update is good news. Your package has arrived in the destination country and has cleared through the customs process.
If there have been any issues with customs clearance you should already have been notified. (UPS Clearance Information Required is a typical alert if a problem is encountered).
Essentially, your package is now cleared for the next leg of its journey.
In most cases, this will mean being dispatched to a UPS facility (regional or local depending on where the package is in relation to its final destination) where it will be sorted for onward delivery to the recipient.
Disclaimer: When shipping internationally, shipments will need to be cleared by the customs agency of every country it enters into, or departs from.
This way, that country’s government can inspect, keep a record of, and collect any taxes (or ‘duties’) owed for importing or exporting that product. It is a complex procedure that UPS thankfully handles on your behalf. Unfortunately though, because of its complex nature, there can be delays when things go wrong.
If you see ‘import scan’ on your tracking, this means it was able to be cleared successfully – at least, that’s how it’s supposed to be.

I also think it looks warm … and judging by the promo photos not that much different from gold. At least compared to my 12pro. (Which looks more like a warm sand tone to me than gold)

When going through T-Mobile for the trade in is it like apples where you pay for the phone outright and then the reimburse back to your card? Or Do they do the credit immediately in store and you just pay the remaining balance owed?

Me either. I'm on the fence. the only thing that I would upgrade for is because of the lighter weight, but otherwise nothing stuck out to me.
