Ordered two Blue Titanium. A pro max(256 gb) and a pro(128 gb). Both are arriving Friday but I will pick up Saturday from Apple. Cases have been ordered from otterbox and spigen, along with screen protectors. Those should arrive by Friday.

I know this has been asked thousands of times and there are dedicated threads for this. Just one more time..
Does everyone set up their device as new or use quick start or backup to device and restore?

I’ve always set up as new just for the piece of mind nothing unnecessary is being transferred over. I don’t have too many apps and it isn’t exactly difficult to set up as new, apart from logging in to all the banking apps and so on.

Is the anxiety of moving data over irrelevant or is there actually merit in setting up as new?
Setup as new isn’t even an option for me anymore due to 2FA apps.

I think Monday (US) time is the day. So Tuesday in China.

I was ignoring the time zone, just going by the UPS delivery status window. Here's last years tracking information for my iPhone 14 which was the same as previous years. Cleared customs and started moving on Wednesday the 14th U.S. time for delivery on Friday the 16th:

Edited: they are shipping out much faster than earlier years. See my post 10616.

Are you sure? I have this option under "edit membership preferences"/"Driver Instructions" - and my driver leaves it no matter what, even if adult signature required:

Location for Package Delivery

Let your driver know if you do not want your packages left at your front door.

Delivery Location

Front Door

Authorize Shipment Release

I authorize UPS to release packages addressed to my residence when no one is present to accept delivery. UPS will make only one delivery attempt and will not obtain a signature upon delivery.
I understand that a UPS delivery record will be conclusive proof of delivery, and I accept all responsibility for loss or damage after the package has been released at the address.
I understand that UPS retains sole and unlimited discretions to honor my Authorized Shipment Release request for any package (and may not, for example, due to delivery conditions
such as adverse weather or safety) and that Authorized Shipment Release is not available when a package requires an adult signature.

I authorize release of my shipments.
Yes I am sure, unless I am looking in the wrong place.

Yep. Same thing last year when i had Aftership. Just the customs paperwork being submitted electronically. Thus why it can be confusing
That’s what I assumed. They’re told X number of iPhones are coming and ours are part of those scans so that when they get there they don’t have to manually scan all 10000000 of them (or however many lol)
