Surprise UPS picked up item at 11:10pm pst - may be UPS exception to big client like Apple. As of now UPS shows delivery tomorrow - UPS next day air.

Changed my mind on color and wanted to exchange to Cosmic Orange. Today I saw plenty of stores have it in stock around sf bay area. So, went to nearest store and exchanged deep blue with Orange Pro Max 256GB.

Cosmic Orange looks beautiful in person than the images on apple site.

Man, the store was super packed but appreciate apple staff was patiently helping.

Just a tip if any one wants to exchange and already don't know, your wait is going to be upwards of 1hour and the stock might dwindle in the meantime. So, at the checkin, tell the rep that you are there to exchange and let the person know exactly what size/color you want. If they have in stock, they will place hold on the piece - so this guarantees the device for you while you wait 1 hour or what ever time you need to wait for your turn.
 
  1. Ordered immediately and received a launch day delivery.
  2. The package was out for delivery on 9/19.
  3. I was out and spoke to the UPS driver via the Ring Doorbell, saying I had to go out of town and I'll be back on Monday, 9/22.
  4. UPS Driver incorrectly rescheduled my delivery for Monday, 9/29.
    1. I'm out of town the week of 9/29
  5. Apple rescheduled my delivery for 9/26.
  6. UPS claims they can't find my package.
  7. Calls to Apple and UPS have gotten me nowhere.

CO 2TB Pro Max AND Blue 2TP Pro Max ordered at 5:02am Pacific on 9/12. Got estimated Sept 24 - 29 shipping. Blue came on Wed (9/24). CO appears 'stuck' in "Processing" stage. Seeming less and less probable the CO will arrive by the 29th. Tick tock

It is not stuck. They just has not received inventory to fulfill your order? It is likely to ship on Monday, Sept. 29 since that is the shipping range, and not a delivery date.

I can only respond to what you post my Crystal ball is in the shop this week. Respectfully which it is? May be a typo in your earlier post.

Gee, sorry your order hasn't arrived - glad to hear you ordered a second unit.

I had that issue last iPhone 16 year and had to pick up in store.

This year I thought it might happen again so I placed 2 orders - ISPU and delivery.

Both came thru on the 19th.

Now it's time to return the duplicate iPhone 17.
It was a hassle but it’s all worked out. Apple refunded me for the Pro Max and I’m extremely happy with my Air.
 
I’m waiting for my local store to offer the pickups again.

I plan to trade in my 15PM for the 17 pro.

Glad I have had a pro max though as the battery life has been amazing and the screen size a nice addition.

Always wanted a pro max but I’m ready to go back to a more pocket friendly phone! That blue 17P looks so nice but I’m torn over a case. The torture starts over, had like 7 for my 15PM

Not sure if I want the techwoven or silicone but will decide on the day when I can complete a collection when it goes live.

Does anyone know when stores typically allow regular ISPUs that are not pre orders? ( I appreciate it’s only been a week since launch of course )

Air is wonderful - yes!

Since I ordered 2 Air phones - ISPU and delivery and both delivered this year, I just returned one of them unopened.

I ordered on 9/13 and received a delivery date of 10/3. Two days ago, it shipped and I received it today.

This was thru my carrier, Verizon, for a 1-TB Cosmic Orange.

I’m now going through the iMessage Activation Unsuccessful issue. . UPDATE: issue resolved after creating Apple support ticket yesterday.

Has the date changed to you on the order page before shipping?
 
Wow this has not been a good experience this year.

First my order was changed from pick up to delivery.

Next when I went to the store to trade in my old devices like I’ve done for years they said I couldn’t do that and I’d have to ship them back.

I usually have them put the credit on another card so I can keep the Apple Cash.

Wasted 45 minutes at the store.

Not sure I’ll upgrade next year after this
 
Mine is still processing arrives Oct 10-17 even though I have place my pre-Order Sep 12 3-5 min in Pre-Order Opened :( I guess that silver 1TB Pro & Max are low in stock !:rolleyes:
 
My order was thru Apple.com - no IUP, no Carrier, etc...

Mine was also ordered via Apple.com without iUP or carrier deal. My phone arrived via UPS with the TIK box inside the phone delivery box. But, it was a return via FedEx, not UPS. 🤷‍♀ Seems there were a lot of options used. I would guess the options were based more on logistics of area as opposed to what type of order is was. But, like most folks, I’m just making a guess.
