Thanks, I think apple should have include this adapter for free since this is the first apple device which has usb c and there are no usb c earphones available.

Not judging if right or wrong but they probably assume that nowadays the majority of people use Bluetooth headphones

I know exactly what you mean. I’ve been using AirPods since they launched. But I’ve got a good set of ye olde fashioned cans that aren’t getting retired yet.

I don’t know if I’ll bother with the iPad. I’ll probably just use the AirPods with it and use my iPhone (with another bloody dongle :D) if I want to use the wired cans.

Yes true. But it seems that good chunk of Apple’s customers use good ole wired earphones who want better quality.

I can. But it’s still tap AND swipe which seems like a step backwards.
[doublepost=1541688124][/doublepost]I used my MacBook Pros 65 W power supply to charge the iPad without any problems. Still find USB-C to be more wobbly and unsafe looking compared to Lightning.

If you have a Smart Cover of some sort as most people do then it’s open cover and swipe, same amount of actions as with TouchID.
