my 2 cents....

i'm guessing (correct me if i'm wrong) that since you're 16 and your sister is in college - the amex and the $400 annual fee is actually your parents'? now, i don't know the ins and outs of the whole situation but if it were my kids (or on the flip side, my parents when i was younger) i'm pretty sure that they would be the ones that should make this decision and not you? i'm thinking that talk about insurance fraud, well, it would fall on them. you might not have any issues, but i think you parents might! at least i would hope so...

If you really think all people are like that you are either an idiot or a fool !

i am foolish at times yes, online and in real life, but to resort to calling me an idiot, I can definitely see your ignorance, no need to call me insults Lizard. Many of you all that claim not to break/bend laws, etc etc etc. are all fooling yourselves. If we were all as moral as your kind, well imagine that

Hi okay so long story short, my sister lost her iphone about a month ago. We reported it stolen, made claims through our warranty thing with amex and got a new one. However, someone found it turned it in and its been returned to my sister. Since she got a new phone, can I use the old one? even though it was reported as stolen? My parents wont let me add a data plan to my line , so if we tell AT&T that it was found, will they make me add it? ( idk if they know that we found it). Someone told me to jailbreak it and use a different carrier..but Im on the same family plan as my sister ...would that work?

So the question is, can I still use it even though we reported it as stolen? If I restore it or something cant i just put my sim card in it and use it?
I know this is an old thread, but if someone had called on the OP, that is how he could get caught. It is what is referred to as "soft fraud" in the industry.

[doublepost=1514325986][/doublepost]right on! insurance companies and huge corporations have so many lemmings brainwashed. even if it is the legal thing to do.... letting insurance companies rip us off isn't the ethical thing to do. same thing with banks and landlords. I'm over this crap being charged huge fees and the ceo of the co makes billions. and i don't give a crap about stock holders either. pay a fair wage. and don't think its the taxes that keeps the companies out of our country. its the super super cheap wages that they exploit poor people in other countries that keeps them there. greedy greedy greedy
