Could always rip the movies and put onto the SD card. When i switched to the S10 when it was released i ripped my library and threw it on my 512sd card. I’m back on Apple now ... but I am debating getting the note. I love both so much. I just wish Samsung tablets / phones synced together better. Since that’s a huge thing I would miss when I’m laying in bed on my tablet
All the stuff I bought from iTunes has DRM so even if I put them on an SD card they won’t play on a non Apple device.

How about paid tools like Tuneskit, NoteBurner, DVDFab, etc. that strip Apple DRM for backup/personal use? Later versions of MacOS may have gimped these tools so probably better to look into Windows version.

there’s a program to remove it. You are heavily invested anyway though so I wouldn’t really see a point

My real problem is the amount of tv shows and movies I’ve bought from iOS. I’ve no way to watch them on an android phone. We don’t have anything like movies everywhere in the UK.
There's no reason to do this illegally.

Download the Movies Anywhere App from the Apple App Store and connect it to your various accounts. Except for a few studios, any movie I purchase on iTunes (my default store) almost immediately shows up on my Android TV (Google Play Movies App), Amazon Prime account, and my XBox One. And visa versa. And it's free. This is movies only, though.

I have a Tablet E that runs android and an iphone 7 also for personal use and for work i use android too but i would love to buy a Mac for browsing in my time of relax but is so expensive in my country and i don’t wanna spend more that i have . Is all working perfectly for now

I use both off and on, currently Note 9 and iPhone 11 Pro Max. There are features I love in both and really dislike the hold iOS has on me because of family and friends. I tried 6 months on the Note 9 and it was difficult due to Messages and Facetime being the only Android user. So, since I use various platforms because I love tech, I just keep both and test out different apps often. My home is all iOS too, so using the iPhone to control AppleTV and other items is easier. The Apple Watch with LTE sure helps too.

I have family and friends on both platforms as well and messaging is never a problem. For FaceTiming nearly everybody has Facebook messenger, just use the video chat on that. It works good.

I tried to get people to move on to something else but they didn't feel it was important enough to change. So alone.😢

Lol,.. Just call them using FB messenger. Are you saying they won't even answer it? Lol.. Weird how people think something simple is a big thing.

I’m from the U.K. and have had Movies Anywhere since it’s inception. My films port through to my Google account with no problems.
You must be using a US account then, or have US iTunes/Google Play/Amazon accounts.
I'm in Indonesia, and the service won't work with local Google account, but it will work with a US Google account. Once the accounts are connected, I can stream even without VPN.

How can I get this? I can‘t find the app on the App Store.
You have to have a US iTunes account, I believe.

Ahhh I remember those days when I lived in UAE especially when I had Iphones and Ipads, many of the best marine apps were only in the US store even though charts were for UAE. UAE made it worse as VPN is illegal too and were forever fixing loop holes used by VPN providers.

In some respects it did get better/easier but never consistent and having multiple paypal accounts etc became a pain on top of other duplicate accounts

I don't bother now in KL or Thailand other than a year or so I played with Goodlock only available in US and UK for Android and tried nicelock as a way to stay up to date with the apk's but can't be bothered for the little it gives now

Signed up on 1st day it was announced so the geoblocking measures weren’t in place (appreciate they are now however), linked UK Google account to MA, done and dusted ever since.

I do have US iTunes & Amazon accounts of which are linked as well.

Slowly I’ve started to notice more and more people who text me are sending RCS messages to my Android phone. If only the carriers would just say RCS is the new standard replacing SMS and MMS Apple would be forced to integrate it into Messages and you wouldn’t have all the message features that are lacking in the old SMS standard.

been playing around with the iphone and I have a OG pixel...don't need latest and greatest.

I like the screen being bigger (iphone) and face unlock
Im eh about asking siri for google...but is the assistant app on ios do the same stuff as it would on android? (minus the call screening obviously)

also, losing android auto ability (more convenience of easier screen to move through music and radio apps than stock bluetooth) and carplay isn't an option.

I'd love if android auto was an app on ios, but that isn't happening.

I think for myself using various platforms, I find features I like in all of them. Which makes it hard to just use one 100%. Not sure how many people can stick to one platform. My wife is strictly iOS on her phone. She prefers the handheld computer, no iPad, no laptop, and so I upgrade every few years to the next big iPhone.

Was looking around about RCS, and found out that South Korea had them way back in 2012, and the carriers there ditched RCS in 2016(!) because they just saw no point of it when services like KakaoTalk (the whatsapp of Korea) is becoming the norm.

That's the problem with RCS. With the ultra slow rollout, and the ultra slow adoption by devices and carriers, it's a foregone conclusion. It might be beneficial in the US where plain SMS is still the norm, but in other regions, I doubt we will see RCS. In Asia, services like Whatsapp, Line, or WeChat are the norm, and they are platform agnostic. You don't need to wonder if your carrier and device, AND your friends' carriers and devices, support it. Just download an app, and you're good to go.

RCS rolled out in Canada recently. I got the message on my Note 9 asking to turn it on.

I own an iPhone 11 Pro and Pixel 4. iPhone is my main phone. The Pixel started off as a phone just to mess around with (Google gave me an offer to buy one at a heavily discounted price I couldn't pass up) but then it slowly turned into my unofficial work phone. I love the Pixel camera. and Stock Android" is nice too. Also iMessage is to good to leave.

Me here. I own the best iPhone 11 Pro Max and iPhone XR but mostly use an Asus ROG Phone (soon to be the II version) and LG V60 Dual Screen on T-Mobile.
