Wow 12.99 for the Sirius service in the first place and another 12.99 for the app, when this same App is released on many other platforms and for free?

I think this app is cool and is great but all that together isn't making me miss that I will be ditching satrad when my contract is up.

To me that is do worth it. I would pay anything for this app. If i dont see this in the app store by the end of the week, im going to riot in the streets.

Well good for you..... If Sirius wasn't going crazy with their rate hike I would probably spend 12.99 (seeing as internet radio wouldn't be costing me squat) oh well to each his own.

I wouldn't consider $12.99 steep at all (if indeed that is what the cost ends up being). Apps of this type on other platforms run anywhere from $9.99 up to the $24.99 range from what I've seen.

It takes a considerable amount of time for someone to code an app like this and the target group is somewhat limited since you must have a subscription to Sirius online radio to use the app. I can definitely understand the developer wanting to see some compensation for his work.

Just my 2 cents.

I'll buy it for whatever cost it's at also. Considering a regular portable XM radio won't get a signal indoors without a home antenna attached and this app will make the iPhone a portable that can, well worth the price.

The Stiletto is $250 or something isn't it? It does have more features (like pausing, recording, etc) and will work with the antenna, but $12 for this app seems like a great price.

I have no problem with the programmers making their money... $13 just seems high to me for this app. With a little work, you can get orb to do the same thing for free.

Especially when it relaeased on many other platforms and for free.....

Great app don't get me wrong something very much needed for everyone who loves satrad and something that should have been out sooner (and had it come out before Sirius raised their prices I would have probably bought it) but I choose to vote with my wallet in both cases with Sirius and the developer...

i listened to a little bit it may be a while before it is released he said they submitted it but apple hadn't even opened it yet, then the host said so the 2 to 4 week wait may be a reality and he said yes its looking like it may be.

Bummer! I am really looking forward to listening to Howard Stern while at work.

I'll bet the app comes out on March 11th, just as the online feed no longer becomes free. If the developer really wanted to make money with this app, they would have pushed Apple to review it sooner. Otherwise, its tough to sell people on buying a 13 dollar app for a service they also have to pay for. I think the developer should rethink that original price tag since by the time the app is available the service will no longer be free.

I already pay for the service so I can get the premium internet stream, so nothing will change. I can't wait for the app.

Good thing there are 1,000,001 fart apps in the app store to keep us busy in the meantime.

has it always been 2 to 4 weeks for approval I thought it was 6 to 9 days I was surprised when they said 2 to 4 weeks.

I thought stern and sirius was pretty good at keeping that from happening anyways.... I have never found an app to do it. Which is why I ended up getting sirius..... Now to ditch them again due to Sirius raising rates. I know this economy sucks but it's not just companies that are hurting either....
