That's exactly what I did too! It was only a couple extra bucks to jump to 256!
There's an extra 256 JB+ in the queue now. I found a 256 MB+ at my local Apple Store and decided I didn't need jet black bad enough to wait for my preorder. I had a 9/28 ship date and after not even seeing 9/23's shipping yet I decided to cancel. 3 different Apple Stores in my area don't even have jet black phones on display. I really wanted the jet black but I don't think I'll regret not waiting too much.
Well guys I decided to cancel my +JB 128gb for 2 reasons. One I have been watching videos of people only having it for 2 days with scratches, little or not I don't want that to be on my phone since I don't like cases. No matter how good I am with the phone just putting it on your pocket will scratch. 2 I got tired of waiting. This is ridiculous to wait 1 1/2 months to get a phone. Kinda glad it didn't come actually. So I canceled the vzw order and went to my local target since I went there on release day and spoke to a guy that if he gets any 7 plus to let me know. Well today he calls and says he has a black 128gb so I went and got it. Good luck to the rest of you and see you next year!
I checked the status on the preorder status page and it says sent to warehouse for shipping. That works for me.

I haven't seen Verizon MB+ models pop up anywhere. Just a few places with 32s, and I saw like the east coast get 256s. I've had no more MB at my store in the Southwest since Sunday.Same here. My local Apple Store has 128GB MB+ which I'm about to just go get, I'm so damn tired of waiting...

Ikr, $100 + tax on that $100 so for me $106. And you won't get $106 higher resale or trade in value when you go to sell or trade it in next year.
Plus I never even use 64GB of internal storage let alone 256GB!
Same here. The shipping date has been gone on my order status for a few days now.
That must be VERY frustrating.
I ordered a 7+ 256 JB. This makes me think they will miss my 9/28 ship date too.
