Just got off the phone with Verizon order support dept. I told him how my date has changed from 10/05 to 10/26 and how others are getting orders before mine. He said "based off time/ date you ordered ( 9/9 12:30am ) you will have your order delivered by 10/05"
Basically the 10/26 date is invalid that has been showing up on my order status. He asked if I had received any update or change notifications and when I said no, he said then 10/05 is your date. Phones are being shipped as soon as they become available. Depends on color/model/gb.
I really hope 10/05 is my date at this point. It's what my email confirmation says.

Yea totally. That's why I ordered. I was ok with 10/05. Now I'm hoping its not a lie.
This whole Verizon fiasco has been a joke. Picked up my 7+ jet black last night at a Apple Store ( set aside due to the whole IUP fiasco) everyone looked at the black box like ooooo I want that. Let me tell ya I was ready to pull a Ray Lewis and start tackling anyone giving me a wrong look
Shipped yesterday via FedEx; delivery scheduled for 9/27.
Anyone want to comment on why the 7+ JB phones seem to be more available than the 7 JB? I would have predicted the opposite. I think I have only seen 2 preordered-from-Verizon 7 JBs shipped and I think at least 1 of them was a 256 (I need 128). Maybe because Apple knew the 7+ cameras would make them the hottest item so they made lots more of them? I don't really get this whole thing.
7+ jet black original ship date was October 5th. But just got shipping info and it's coming Monday
This gives me hope! I'm an original 10/5 delivery date, but haven't seen any changes to my order yet :/

"We are working hard to complete your order. Unfortunately, it will not be shipped as originally scheduled. You will receive a shipment confirmation email when your order ships, which will include a new delivery date."
I was fine with 10/5, just a little disappointed they moved my date up only to move it back. Still not charged yet.

Been wondering this myself. It's hard to be patient. I ordered my 7 128 JB and got confirmation on 9/9 at 12:15a and still have no movement on my 10/5 order
Ooh. I just received a text from Verizon saying they received my order and I'll receive a text message when it ships.

Ordered 2 phones on Verizon site.
Then another update just now. Credit card just got charged for both phones. Now Verizon Wireless site doesn't have any expected ship date. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Mine is in Memphis as well. I don't expect it to move anytime soon as it's not suppose to get here until Tuesday.
Yea mine says Monday but I hardly believe it. It got picked up and dropped off in the same location strangely... 8 hours apart
