Apple is very protective about everything. It would be considered a MAJOR blunder by UPS if they delivered Apple products early.

Seems to me the blunder would be on Verizon. All UPS knows is it’s a delivery from Verizon. Unless Verizon specifically told them not to deliver until a specific date.

We go through Verizon and know one of the managers there. We’re calling him tomorrow to officially pay off our current devices and upgrade, hoping he will have a couple he will stash away for us when they arrive, otherwise we are okay waiting until October.

This is all highly organized I'm positive they are meant to be held until Friday. This has been the method every year. It takes all 5 days leading up to release day to get the packages labeled and shipped, that's why they already started "shipping" this weekend.

I'm not guaranteeing no mix ups happen, but I can assure you it is absolutely meant to be held by UPS/FedEx until Friday.

I upgraded my phone on the 5G Play More plan without needing to change my plan. My husband on the 5G Start plan had to either upgrade or take a $250 trade in. All done through Verizon and already have a tracking number so your plan should be just fine.

They just aren't finished with all the pre shipping yet. I don't have any details yet either. Orders have been updating to shipped everyday since Saturday. We just have to wait our turn. Should be by Wednesday!

So my 13 pro max is only 128GB, and i only use half of it lol. But this time since i am going to be stuck for 36months, i went with the 512 GB Pro Max titanium, and still end up paying $10 less per month.

That’s what I’m thinking of going with. I have a hookup at Verizon, but they’re off Monday’s so I have to get with him tomorrow to get the best deal possible for us. I’m tempted to go with the 512 gb Pro Max in blue just due to it showing the delivery date will be shorter as of right now. Don’t want to order until I know everything is 100%. Here’s to hoping waiting another day doesn’t cost me, lol. My wife and I still owe on our 13s but they only have a month left so just going to pay them off and upgrade in one shot.

Makes sense! I was going to go with the regular pro, but I’m starting a new job that’s going to require me to have a top notch battery, hence why I decided to do the max instead and just pay it off now instead of waiting. Hoping it will be here by no later than mid-October.

So i went through a test run of trying to buy the 15 pro Max, and trade in my 13 pro max.

They are giving me the full 830 for a trade-in. But i was under the impression you need to upgrade to the current unlimited plans to do so? I am still on the old More everything plans. However nowhere in the process is it forcing me to upgrade my plan? So what gives?

I dont want to do it then later they say you need to be on new plan.

I was able to trade-in a 12Pro and get $830 off with a Play More plan that I setup in 2020.

Out of curiosity, when you upgrade. Did you also have to pay taxes + activation fee at checkout while the device cost is financed? Or activation fee is charged to the bill?
