Video of the spigen stand

Wow, they're selling it for more than double the price in Japan -- works out to be around $45.

The coupon above appears to have expired. Any others available?
 
Just got mine today - posted pictures in the stands thread which is stickied.

It's really nice, especially for the price. A bit disappointed all their information isn't on the bottom, but oh well.

Same here. The text should be printed on the bottom or underside of the base. I've sent them a complaint today as I got mine today and not too happy about this considering the images online does not show it.

I got it today and it certainly looks cheap and flimsy in person. That said its not that bad. The annoying thing is that there is text printed on the upper side of the base and should be on the underside. The online images don't show it at all and the base looks much nicer.

I sent them an email too. I'd probably be perfectly fine with it if it was shown on their website and their packaging, but it's not and it just seems a little deceptive. It's not that it looks awful - you can only really see it when you're a couple of feet away or nearer - it's just that it isn't what I thought I was purchasing.

It's nice enough for the price so I probably won't return it, nonetheless has put me off Spigen a bit.
 
Let us know what they say in the email , if they give you a refund & let you keep the stand I'll send an email too :D
 
Agree with a lot of others on this thread. The writing on the stand makes it look very cheap and brand slapping at its finest. Should have made it more discreet and put it at the bottom. Their images don't show that text.
Guess you can cover it up but is just extra hassle to do so!

I just ordered today as the pictures made it look great.

That writing tho! I can't believe they didn't put it on the bottom. Grr!

They have asked me to send them a photograph which to me is ridiculous as the issue is not a specific fault or defect with mine but something which is obviously on all the stands they are shipping.

I received this email from them. I am glad they are being proactive about it and will ask for an exchange if the words are printed on top-

On the one hand, it's good news that the writing isn't supposed to be there. But it's not great that Spigen apparently had no idea that the products that were shipping out had it. I think I'll go ahead and order one from Amazon and hope it's okay.
 
My stand arrived from Amazon. It does NOT have the writing on top. It has it on the bottom.

I think the build quality and look is exceptional.
 
Got mine in today, and as nice as it is, mine did come with the etching on top. Definitely looking to get it replaced with a defect-free version. Otherwise, it's fantastic!

I got my stand on Thursday. I think it's great, it doesn't look at all cheap and works very well. Mine came direct from spigen.co.uk and does have the text on the top of the base. I'm not bothered about it, and I'm not sure I get the fuss really.
 
Mine came today and there's no writing on top, the label is on the bottom. I pre-ordered it from Amazon mid-April. it was shipped and sold by Spigen to Boston, USA.

There's a Spigen label written on the rubber part though. Perhaps the customer service is confused when people complain about the writing on top and they are thinking you guys are referring to the Spigen logo on the black rubber.
