4 cores = Core 2 Extreme
As several posters here have noted, there is no certainty about what will change with the next release of the MBP. However, as Apple is apparently buying up the majority of the first available Penryn chips, it's *possible* that we'll see a quad-core MBP in early 2008. What would be even more interesting is if the graphics horsepower of the MBP is beefed up a bit.... 256MB of graphics ram, for example. Has anybody read anything about that possibility?
