What prophecy? This would be the equivalent of an angel coming down to Mary and saying "I know something super sweet is going to happen to you but I'm not going to tell what you will just have to wait nine months....oops I said too much."

Did archangel Micheal use the term "insanely great?":p
Hi Mary, thank you, we've got some super sweet announcements for you today, I'm really excited about it and I think you're gonna really love it too. First of all I want to talk about religion *brings up first slide with pie chart*:D :D

As promised. Man I looked like a roughneck back then, need a new License now that I look at it, lol. Of course the renewal is on the back. But at least people wont think I'm some 10 year old seeking attention. But seriously, all I wanted to tell people was to get excited, lol. This is as far as I'm going to prove anything to the forums, take what I say any way you would like, you guys are wearing me out! :D

Is there any chance that you have on old Westwood Studios business card that we can take a gander at?

Your kidding right? That was like a thousand years ago! No I don't, sorry. Posting the DL should be enough, if that does not convince you that I am Patrick Offord of westwood studios then F it, lol.

I would like to first say I had alot of fun posting the thread (Especially from where I was!), and I had alot of fun reading the many posts...especially the one that said I might be trying to get a job at a Tabloid!!! God I laughed at that one.

Since others think I am after attention I think I will stop posting in this thread. I do like it here though, many many posts and looks to be one the the most active message boards, so I will continue to hang about. But no more proving who I am garbage, kinda had enough of being under the microscope. I hope all of you enjoy Tuesday, I know I will. And I hope to talk to everyone on other threads about things, I will try not to post this kind of thread again though, just too much trouble to spend hours convincing the world! F it I say! Apple has some awesome stuff to show off, stocks are going to rise (I hope), and I will forever now be the guy that said nothing but had one of the largest threads lately, guess that in itself is cool :D

Cheers mates, enjoy the show!

I didn't not wish to offend you I figured I would re-ask if my previous request of a business card showing what you did being that you indulged us with a drivers license. To me having a business card gives more believability (in my eyes) than a drivers license - other people have the same name (there are two in Pat/Patrick Offord's in Nevada)

I appreciate you taking the time to post a thread. I always valued your original post, and I enjoyed reading the discussion. However, I do become lost in all the accusations.

I just appreciate your post, no matter what comes on Tuesday. It helps get us excited and you took the time to share. Thank you.

There is always a 50/50 chance that someone will waste time and effort by claiming that they are in the know.

What amazes me is that for someone to really be on the inside on these things then they are one of a hand-picked group. Now I have to assume that if this thread is true then the person posting it is not very good at their job and fears that an imminent dismisal is coming. But wait, if they were that bad then they wouldn't be in the group in the know.

OK, so sometimes there are hundreds of people in the know. There has to be in order to ensure that the product is on the production line before it gets released. But then this poster claims to be using one right now! So they must be part of the elite group... hang on a minute... Steve, is that you? I can't believe it.. wow.. you're great...

No, no... I am getting carried away.. this post is a complete falacy or else the boom box is one hell of an ipod accessory.

oh GOD you guys are so stupid
all these weird guesses and scepticism
the guy was only slightly kinda a little bit off on 50% of his predictions..
its CLEARLY obvious that hes writing from his 6g 20TB touch screen ipod video that has built-in bluetooth and wifi and comes pre-loaded with the ITMS.
c'mon.
</sarcasm>
seriously though.. thatd be pretty cool.

He says his friend is in the know, and let him take a look for 15 minutes. So he's not an Apple employee, just a very close friend of someone on the design team.

He said he used it for 15 minutes, so only the first post is the one he posted from Apple HQ. Didn't you read the thread?

Perhaps the boom box is ready for the spotlight and to memorialize all the rampant speculation that precedes product announcements, Apple has gone over the edge and asked their designers to outdo themselves. In that spirit, say hello to the newest member of the family ... the truly portable iLeak.

Look this is rubbish. It was at 2am. Apple Staff are not allowed to show products to outsiders and these forums are blocked on apple

Hi all,

Don't post here very often (sorry!), but do read regularly. And this is certainly an interesting thread. I for one am excited. The big question of course is whether chasingapples did or did not see "something". As far as I am concerned there is no need for the poor person to prove who he is, who he worked for, his dog's name or any other personal stuff. All he needs do is to prove if he saw new product(s). Which of course is very difficult to do, because as soon as he mentions any detail, Apples hit sqaud will be onto him and possibly his contact (by hit squad I mean lawyers - I'm not suggestions Apple would employ proper hitmen!).

So chasingapples, I am excited by what (hopefully) you have seen. What can you tell us about it, that will prove your authenticity (and associated "you lucky so and so" status). I am thinking perhaps you could tell us the colour? If you say white and a black thing turns up, then obviously you were wrong.

Art...? Interesting. Looking forward to tomorrow!

I still think a big part of this hungs on how he managed to post from Apple Campus at 2am onto a forum that is blocked by Apples Network.

Do you know that for a fact? It seems a bit absurd to me that apple would specifically block a rumors site on their own campus. It kind of seems like china's google....

I seems abusrd to me that Apple are sueing Rumor sites and make Apple Staff Sign a contract saying they wont post on Apple Forums. So no, this doesnt seem like a big leap.

If they come up with a Apple Version of Microsofts little pda device I will be so happy though

tablet.

I really want a tablet for one reason... I am an artist and designer.. I am sick of being disconnected from my work by my wacom.. (and who can afford the damn lcd wacoms?) I find it hard to believe with apple being such a creative-centric company that people don't see the value of there being an ART/DESIGN FOCUSED tablet mac.... I would LOVE to be able to carry that around using it with sketchbook and then editing the photos i have just taken in the field with it. that being said, i don't think this is going to happen, but i can wish.

I think what we'll be seeing on tuesday is more of apple's extension into the living room of tomorrow. They are going to continue to create cool new lifestyle devices.

I don't know whats coming tuesday, but whatever it is, I'm sure it will be cool. I for one, can't wait.
