After reading your post and looking at your sig you are clearly just a very unhappy person.
And you are complaining about someone complaining a product. hm...
That sig...well, it hasn't been updated for a long time and I believe it is still considered as protected speech and expression under the 1st Amendment of the US Constitution.

i can't help if you feel like you're discussing something with a sales rep from apple. and i still don't understand your visual example. either way, discussion is better than complaining. and don't expect apple to change it's ways to accomodate you. you go with the changes, or stay on an older OS. or modify what you can (i do a lot of that myself). whatever works....in the real world.
Hence the reason we need to give them feedback.
Just look at some of the flops they made. I am looking at the 3rd gen shuffle.

yes, give feedback. then move forward. the beachball won't be changed back, not how apple (or any tech company works). remember, for you it's 'the 3rd gen shuffle', for others...it's just a new-looking beachball.

If it is only an issue for me, why did this thread exist?
Also, why do you feel that you need to jump into this topic knowing that we do not like the beachball and tell us what we can or cannot like?

sorry, let's hope only people who agree with you post in this thread, so you can avoid discussion, or other points of view...

And you feel that you have the need to tell me what I cannot like better...hm...

you can like anything you want to like, it makes no difference to me. you just can't change apple's approach to change. honestly, i fully support your right to your opinion; i also believe in living in the real world... ;)

Can any of you fart blisters actually tell us how to change it? Where to find the previous icon online and which file to replace and where it's located?

Sure I can, download and run "Mousecape"
Now about this "fart blister" name calling, not the best way to introduce yourself to a new forum.
My cursors in El-Cap...

Works great in ElCapitan. I dumped the cursor library from Mavericks and imported in ElCapitan. I hated the flat beachball... the missing gloss makes it wobble rather than rotate... as if is off centered.
You may dump the Mavericks cursor or I could post here the dump.

Mousecape doesn't seem to work on Sierra. How can I change the beach ball now?
Let me know when you find out. Currently doing the hop to Sierra via El Capitan. I'm going to miss Snow Leopard but partially this is a test to make sure a client will be able to do the same. She has her Macbook Pro on Sierra now but her Macbook on Snow Leopard. Her new(used) iMac is actually on Sierra as well. So to get her unified I needed to test this upgrade process and see if it's worthwhile for her and if it will allow Plex to function better.
