It won't.If I do downgrade all else to stable, will the watchOS 10 still function properly paired to iOS 16? Has anyone tried?

You need to long press on the watch face and then you can either edit that face or swipe to go to another.Worst beta yet. Can't pull down notifications, still can't swipe between faces.

Uh, you do realize that the Ultra case is larger but the screen isn’t noticeably bigger than the Series 7/8?Does WatchOS 10 utilize the big Ultra screen any better than WatchOS 9? Obviously both version are limited to the same bezel size and pixels, but I am curious weather version 10 watch faces use the Ultra screen any better.

Which watch faces (and apps) have been optimized for the Ultra, besides the Wayfinder? The display is bigger, not by very much, but it is certainly noticeable. I for one always easily notice if a watch face has been optimized to use all of the Ultra display - or not.

No I don't. That is a completely different gesture which is primarily for customising watch, to switch between watch faces it now requires two actions: long press and then swipe, previously you could effortlessly just swipe between faces. You need to long press on the watch face and then you can either edit that face or swipe to go to another.

My watch has stopped charging at 80% even if I turn off optimize battery.
In order for me to charge to 100% I must do a reset. (Hold two buttons until apple logo appears.) this has only started on Beta 3…
Anyone else notice this?
Depends on what you reply on most for the watch. From my perspective, it's been fine since beta 1. I can live with the weather being broken - I think I have 5 other in your face weather resources in front of me daily including my car, phone, TV, radio, etc.Judging by the thread here, it does seem like this years BETA is a bit more buggy than previous years? Remember last year as being pretty solid all the way through (jumped on the Public Beta last year to get the new running features)
Of course everything depends... Might just be my memory fading, but I don't remember any big stuff being broken last yearDepends on what you reply on most for the watch. I'm hoping it changes in this WatchOS release but for me so far the faces that are obviously optimised for the Ultra (as opposed to just sitting in the middle of the larger screen) seem to be:Agree and not very many are
I know on iOS beta testing, the biggest shortfall for me and possible regret going early beta is when Maps doesn't work. It's happened, not this time, but it is definitely something I rely on. We go into this with full disclosure, so it's all on me when something I need doesn't work.Of course everything depends...
