Only one question: is the Modular Ultra watch face available on the Series 10?
❌ Apple Watch Ultra and Apple Watch Ultra 2 only can get it
Same I think it’s actually correct now, it was insanely low and never budged, as compared to my Fitbit. This number seems closer to my Fitbit.
Did you compare it to other step counter apps too alongside activity app?

Actually while this has increased, the distance is wayyyy off. I run the same route every day, alternating run and walk and it gave completely different distances for every round. It was slightly better while ending a workout and starting it again instead of add workout. Have reset fitness calibration. Will check tomorrow

Apple states you can do a test run or walk for a few miles, and best to bring your iPhone with you to calibrate fitness metrics accordingly.

Mine just has “cover to mute” as the only option there.
Which Apple Watch series do you have? The wrist flick feature is only available for Apple Watch users who can enable double tap on their devices, such as the Series 9, Series 10, or Ultra 2.

Any one else have the bug with complications not displaying on the Apple Watch app on iPhone. For example to show complications for activity or today's date the option stays off on the app. I have to set the complications using the watch.

Also after installing I had to reboot to get walkie-talkie to enable and the settings in control center got rearranged on my Apple Watch.

The battery drain on my Apple Watch Ultra and series 10 have not been too bad after several days and reboot. Battery life is about the same after the update.

Thank you, i was going crazy trying to figure it up.
No problem glad you got it sorted ✔️

Regarding control centre yes it got rearranged, you have to re-add the water lock, walkie talkie and other control center settings when you edit it out in the directions I posted here: https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...ad.2458443/page-2?post=33952083#post-33952083

Wow impressive. How long did you own your Apple Watch Ultra and series 10? Mines drained a bit faster at 89% battery health , more accelerated battery drain than on my Apple Watch Series 6 than watchOS 11.5 did.

I have owned my Apple Watch Ultra since September 2022 87% battery health. Series 10 since November 2024 100% battery health. In the past 15 hours the Apple Watch Ultra has only used 25% battery. I can usually use the watch 36 hours before needing a charge. Battery life with watchOS 26 is about the same I had with watchOS 11.5. After the install of watchOS 26 I experienced rapid battery drain that was remedied with a restart of the watch.

Thanks for posting how to edit control center. Another anomaly I noticed is with the photos face on the Series 7 can't set the color of the clock to glass. The Ultra 1 and Series 10 can set the clock color to glass. Also the new auto volume of alerts / ringtone is only available on the Series 10 / Ultra 2. I assume series 9 has it as well.

Have there been any features added for organising watch faces? I’ve long wanted to hide faces and sections from the list, which grows ever longer.

I’d install the dev beta on my watch without hesitation, but it requires the dev beta on my phone, which ain’t happening :D

Yes, they've now been organised in categories. This is for adding new watch faces I believe but someone who has the beta will have to confirm

Only the new face gallery y’all can see it categorised. The list of watch faces you have, nope. 👎

Good morning, everyone! So, I was wondering, did the Apple Watch Ultra have a minimal battery change? Was it on AOD and did you do a lot of workouts on it?

I’m thinking of restarting my watch after my morning workout. I’ll give it a full charge and hope my Series 6 lasts longer so it can stay on during my graduation tonight.

No worries, though! Photos face the glass time, and you can do it on any Apple Watch running watchOS 26 beta. I just made a watch face on my Apple Watch Series 6 gold stainless steel with glass time. Here’s a screenshot showing that you can choose a color for the time:

I had to delete and add the Photos face to get glass time to show up on the Series 7 Stainless Steel Gold. Battery health 93% on the Series 7.

I have AOD turned on and do a Cycling workout for 30 minutes with Fitness +. When I put the Apple Watch Ultra on charge this afternoon after wearing it for 35 hours I had 20% left on the battery. I wear my watch all day and use it for sleep tracking. When the Apple Watch Ultra was brand new it would last about 3 days on battery. After updating to watchOS 11 it decreased more but that could because the battery starting to age.

Hey I Still haven’t found it even after doing that, I’d doesn’t show up as an option to add?
Hey everyone! Sorry for the delayed reply, I had graduation last night.

@SAMtheGAM the Apple Watch Ultra can last this long on its battery health. Just remember, if you have to charge it every day or twice a day instead of every other day, that’s when you should start worrying. Last year, we had a lot of Apple Watch Ultra users who tested the beta on their watches too. They had battery life issues, but they were worried that it wouldn’t last long as 2 days, which is what it’s supposed to do. But 30-45 minutes to drain this far is quite fast. My watch usually only drains 15% of its battery in these workouts if I stack them with 2 other workouts on fitness+. I heard some ultra users say that they did 4-8 hour runs and tried to preserve the battery with AOD off.

@D.HanfordSmith the part where you add it is here: press the edit button when accessing the control center. I hope that helps!

Also noticed the bezel pop out animation from iOS 18 is on watchOS 26! Ultra users also can see it from action button.

After pressing Edit then press the + on the upper left corner. It took me a little bit to find it. Then go to Settings and you will find water lock.

Correct thanks for adding on the clarification friend! I appreciate it.
Is the battery drain manageable on the watch ultra?
Depends on your use case. W/o AOD and if you work out a lot like running or hiking for hours the Apple Watch Ultras in these betas would have to be charged every once a day in some cases.
