It’s possible, however I learned that using maps on Apple Watch takes a lot of battery.
Maps, Background Activity, Notifications (the more I have in a day, the lower the battery, so I limit what is on my watch and whats on my phone only). With my old S5, I could recharge 1x/day, and that was using AllTrails and WOD for my workouts each day. On my Ultra, I sometimes go 2 days without charging - though I enable a few more features on the Ultra than I did on my S5.

And location based apps. That’s how the battery goes downhill.
It’s an accelerated drain when I use maps or weather apps a lot or outdoors running and walking.

I definitely need to check my Apple Watch’s settings to make sure they are the same as the iPhone to slow those cycles, bro 👊

I saw someone who was getting 4 days on their Ultra post on Reddit. They claim all the sensors are on, but I cannot see how. No Cell and No Wifi, maybe? I thought getting 2 days was good, but 4! Granted, at 4 days, they were at 1%. That means Day 4, they were not getting sleep, and some other sensors that automatically get turned off below a certain threshold - but still. And they claim they workout multiple times a day - again - fitness uses a good bit of battery so I am feeling they are bunk unless they share every setting.

Low power mode to go beyond 36-72 hours of battery life? Where’s the Reddit link, bro?

They claim no Low Power Mode used.

Reddit Post
Wow, that’s incredible! And he kept doing sleep tracking and workouts with the Apple Watch Ultra 2 or 3? He stayed on 1% for so long!

Sadly, that Redditor got suspended. I can’t tell which watchOS version he’s using.

on ultra2 don’t be surprised not uncommon to hit 4 days on regular daily use. tip remove third party apps just use default apps installed. i removed carrot weather some months ago ever since i regularly get 4 days albeit at 5-10% left on 4th day. i use the watch daily for calls and workout , usual bunch of notifications etc, cellular is permanently on and sleep with watch. that said if i go for a hike using the waypoints and compass access then things change drastically to less than day and a half. but regular daily use no issues in battery life.if i remember i will grab a screenshot on 4th day of battery life percentage left

here we go last charged Monday morning it’s now Thursday morning so into the 4th day almost before i charge it. i dont use full complications features as my eyes are pretty naff there mostly unreadable to me so i use the double tap feature to pull up
information im interested in on a regular basis. also i don’t use beta full stop not since early 2025 there just simply battery draining hungry then again there betas so lesson learnt from past and simply sooner or later there released to everyone in a somewhat stable state eventually

I just removed Carrot from my watch to see how it changes the battery life. I use all of the health sensors and outside of the normal compilations, I don't have AOD on, so if removing Carrot gets me another day or even 2 - wow!

it’s worth a try worth looking at perhaps unused or unknowingly installed apps often done when installing iphone apps, similar outcome with my wifes S9 she had many 3rd party apps installed unknowingly we removed all of them as all she was only interested in was calls and message notifications and the time . it would often not last a working 8-10 hour day now it’s around 40% after a full day . good luck nothing to lose by trying.

But you still used third party step counter apps right?

Great idea, but if you use an app that’s for working out like Nike Run Club or something like that DO NOT DELETE IT OFF THE iPhone or watch, it’ll not sync up the workouts properly

Did try to do once a day charge yesterday, TWO different CURVES of battery drain.

I recharged my Apple Watch after workout.

obviously don’t remove apps that your dependent on or frequently use for personal reasons i guess in my original post should have mentioned that approach but remove the non used ones . ps your watch probably has the worst drain ive seen or looked at thought my wifes old S9 was bad prior to removing half a dozen third party apps but your screenshot made hers look excellent 😀. anyway treated her to a new 46mm S11 at the weekend surprisingly got an acceptable or justifiable trade in deal on her S9 that had a scratch on the screen and battery at 82% health. treat yourself to an upgrade eradicate the analytic day in day out of the poor battery performance so you can use the watch comfortably without worrying about charging battery twice a day

I only removed Carrot. from mine and I did get an extra day out of the charge. I am also looking at the Background Activity to see what is active and what I can turn off. I **think** I have it as minimized as I can.

Siri activating home automation is broken in watchOS 26, if your on wifi and your phone isn’t nearby.

In watchOS 18, if I was on wifi, I could use my watch to activate home automation, but in watchOS 26, it fails. Not sure if it’s a bonjour issue, but it’s like it can’t contact the home hub.
