I wouldn’t mind living to be 180, but my retirement funds wouldn’t last that long, so I’ve decided to wear my watch. If it gives me cancer, I’ll post back here and let you all know.

Anyone who’s truly concerned shouldn’t wear one. They’d never feel comfortable with it on.

Never argued for giving up technology, but being aware and in fact I use the Apple Watch to mitigate what I believe would be more damaging (phone in pocket). The Apple Watch is one of my favorite devices I own and has been a big boon to me being about to leave the house while still being connected without needing to be tethered to my phone. Especially great while going for a run.

We of course get great benefit from technology and I love tech, but at the same time I wouldn’t want to at least mitigate some of the potentially harmful affects.

And again a slow drip toxin like EMF will be very hard to prove to the the sole cause of a mitochondrial disease like cancer, but one of many toxins that would be best to just be aware of.

There is potentially great harm in ignoring this and being mindful of it has no downside if what you are saying is accurate, again I believe the watch is one of the better devices out there and much less harmful than a phone in your pocket or AirPods on all day, but sleeping with the watch I’d say flip on Airplane mode, there is no benefit having it on and only potential upside in flipping radio communications off when they aren’t needed.

I’m not suggesting anyone ignore it. I’m just saying if it makes someone uncomfortable, they shouldn’t wear it. My comment had nothing to do with the science behind it, it had to do with the mental aspect. If switching modes, or something else, is the solution, that’s fine! :)

Precisely why I will be buried with my Carrera Automatic. ;)

Yeah, I doubt it.

From the Wikipedia entry for Dr. Joseph Mercola:

On his website mercola.com, Mercola and colleagues advocate a number of unproven alternative health notions including homeopathy, and anti-vaccine positions.

You can't trust wikipedia on naturopathy as there are interested parties doing battle there. Check out the article for Naturopathy which is highly unfavourable and inaccurate. Naturopaths have tried to correct it several times. Unfortunately, when parties are motivated, things are not always presented accurately. Naturopaths pose a threat to pharmaceuticals in many ways, and perhaps some companies with a lot of money would attempt to push back where they can.

Or Naturopathy is the modern day version of a witch doctor?

I can trust the excerpt I quoted from Wikipedia about the alternative health and anti-vaccine opinions promoted on the so-called doctor's website because I visited said website myself.

He even posts prominent links to an anti-vaxxer site that tries to pass itself off as being government-run.

I am curious to know what you would do if you were to ever break a bone or need to get a scan done to diagnose a medical condition... X-rays, MRIs, CAT scans - man, those are some scary stuff - think about all that "bad stuff" coming at you!
I am so glad that the stuff we post on the internet will be staying here "forever" and people beyond our time will have tons of things to choose and read from to entertain themselves on a Tuesday afternoon.
Cheers!

Is my Apple Watch unhealthy to wear? Absolutely not! If it were not for my Apple Watch, I'd be considerably less healthy. I base that statement on the fact that I used to not own an Apple Watch and I was considerably less healthy. I also base it on what I see in the mirror and on the scale every day.

The good my watch does for me is orders of magnitude better than any potential bad thing it might also be doing to me. The good is clearly evident to myself and those around me. The bad only exists (at this point) in the minds of the paranoid and is backed by bad pseudo-science at best and a sad lack of scientific understanding.

My guess? It's probably more unhealthy worrying about the potential bad side-effects than the potential bad side-effects. The worry certainly adds more stress to your life which HAS been proven to not be good for you.
