Firefox dynasty on el capitan is unusable for me. It crashes on sites that use too much JavaScript (which nowadays is very common). Also, it’s very laggy. It’s definitely not production ready yet
In order for it to get better, people need to open issues on Github with detailed bug reports which include clear and precise steps to reproduce the problem. :)

If anyone is still interested in Firefox Dynasty, the version just uploaded to Github (133a01) is a million times more stable for me on Mavericks. I have been casually browsing for the past hour and haven't run into any issues except one minor UI glitch. I'm posting from it right now.

It's still early, but honestly I think this build of Firefox Dynasty is more stable than Chromium Legacy. I haven't had any issues with tabs randomly crashing or going blank. Battery life is noticeably better too, which probably means it's using less system resources in general.

That's kind of amazing since firefox has notoriously been more power hungry. I suppose maybe with GPU rendering disabled on both, firefox at least has some edge here because the non-gpu fallback might be more common

As I understand we won't see any new update Chromium Legacy anymore ?

Doesn’t even load websites for me (el capitan)

I've tried Firefox Dynasty 133a01 on El Capitan and on my machine (Macbook late 2009) it runs quite well. First time I tried to log into my Firefox account it hanged, but after I restarted it worked fine. I'm quite surprised because the browser also runs quite fast and smooth, whereas Chrome Legacy felt heavier. Very interesting project!

After many tries I got the browser to work, I had to start the bin file once and after that it started with the app file as well. It is definitely more usable than Chromium, too often tabs crash with blank page. MBP09 with EC.

I tested some Firefox-Dynasty versions in different MacOS versions (actual not virtual) from 10.8 Mountain Lion to 10.14 Mojave, I'll share my results:

Firefox-Dynasty 128 versions works in MacOS from 10.8 to 10.14
Firefox-Dynasty 129.0.1 works in MacOS from 10.8 to 10.9 and 10.14
Firefox-Dynasty 130.0.1 works in MacOS from 10.8 to 10.9 and 10.14
Firefox-Dynasty 131.0.1 works in MacOS from 10.8 to 10.9 and 10.14
Firefox-Dynasty 132 works in MacOS from 10.8 to 10.9 and from 10.12 to 10.14

Firefox-Dynasty initially crashed because I used Firefox profile selector, I needed to turn it off "Set as default profile" with url about: profiles.

Just tested to be able to navigate various sites, didn't test DRM.

Aside from test-driving Dynasty (in Mojave), I haven’t done the following just yet. When the time comes, I’ll copy my profile and profiles.ini setting from FF ESR, over to Dynasty to see how well it handles being given a pre-existing setup.

Although FF 115ESR support was announced to be EOL’d after August, Mozilla just pushed out another minor update for it (from 115.16.1 to 115.17). This means I’ll probably remain on 115ESR for just a short while longer before making that switch for daily driving.
