OK everyone, we've just had smoke, so the theme for this challenge is mirrors.
Show me your best reflective shots please; interpret as you wish, but extra points for using real mirrors :)

As always, the rules are the same -

· You may only submit one photo per challenge and the photograph must be your own work.
· Be creative, and have fun!
· The challenge runs for a week and starts now (20.00 hours GMT).
· At the end of the week, The Judge (me) will choose a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place photo. I will try to offer some feedback.
· The 1st place Winner will start a new thread with the topic/theme of their choice, and act as the Judge for that contest. (Winner has 48 hours to create new theme, after that it defers to 2nd place).

Cheers :)

Just reflect on it a while , all will become clear.....

When you look at this challenge, can you see yourself in it?

Sorry about this. I put something up but it would not post properly. I'll work on it later.
Thats ok, take a moment to reflect on what could have gone wrong then come back at it.

Yeah. Thanks. It was really strange. I tried to post it but everything looked backwards and it just stayed there staring back at me. I felt kinda trapped. It was like I was stuck in prism.

"Reflection" was a theme a few months ago. I think this is always harder when similar themes come so close together.

So sorry, I missed that the theme was being repeated.

As a general consensus, would you prefer to carry on with this or cancel and start afresh?

Cheers :)

Okay. I got it.

This is the Chicago skyline reflected in the Cloud Gate sculpture (AKA “The Bean") in Millennium Park.

"“Mirage” is one of 16 artworks scattered around the Coachella Valley as part of the inaugural Desert X, a contemporary-art festival organized by curator Neville Wakefield. It takes the form of a single-story ranch house in the foothills of the San Jacinto Mountains that is wrapped inside and out in mirrored surfaces. From certain angles it disappears almost completely into the landscape it endlessly reflects."

Oh, how I wished my feet weren't cut off.

This is very cool, but you say your feet were cut off. Did you shoot this or was it someone else?

A little canvas extension and content aware would fix most of it and the you could copy, flip, and blend in your feet.

I was actually doing just that last night, but I didn’t want to be “fake”?

Fake because you didn’t get it right in camera, or fake because you couldn’t get it to look right in post? I have no issues fixing stuff like that if you can make it look realistic.
