Thanks Ken, I really tried on this one, to get some nice bogey etc., and I was pleased with the result after about 70 shots.

Your pic is a stunner, well deserving the placing - good that somebody persuaded you to boot the other photo out.

The other placers were also superb so congrats to them as well :)

Cheers :)

Hugh

bogey???? :)

Yes it is becoming apparent to me that I lack phitographic skill AND the ability to tell my good shots from my winners.... Oops nevermind, its all part of the journey.... :)

Play on words mate ;)

And yet if you have winners at all, even if you say you can't tell, it means that you have photographic skill.
You do have, and in bundles :)

Cheers :)

In a coffee shop.
Well, I must say that I loved this particular contest. The topic was brilliant, pure photography, and the sort of thing intended to test how you painted light. Brilliant. Once again, thanks to @E3BK for such a wonderfully inspiring theme to choose from.

Re the actual shots, this was a week where I loved almost all of them - a terrific week.

Congrats to @MacRy for a lovely worthy winner; great shot.

@Alexander.Of.Oz also touched upon a similar topic with his elegant black and white flower.

In addition, I really loved @kenoh's wine glass - great shot, and, as I love cafés, @ericgtr12's charming shot, redolent of MittelEuropa appealed to me. As did @AlexH's gorgeous rich candle, gloriously atmospheric and apposite for this time of year.
