Actually it is what you make it. There are people from all over the spectrum. I mostly go for the art and to get off the grid for a couple of weeks. Here's the postcards I gifted last year. It gives you an idea of some of the amazing stuff out there.

I'm glad it's all been sorted out.
My lappie is off for service (screen de-lamination replacement) and my health hasn't been cooperative either so I've been mostly offline.
I'm thankful to Apple Fanboy for stepping up.
Best,
Ed

Offline? How will you cope? Hope it doesn’t take too long for the repair.

I'm using my seemingly indestructible but modern internet challenged 2008 G4 17" PowerBook for now.
It's painfully slow - holy spinning beach balls :D.
My iPhone 8+ has much better specs :p.
It's only 3-5 days, 3-5 days, 3-5 days ...

These are amazing! That second one, in particular, appeals to me, but they are all just stunning. Wow....
Thank you.

I typically only get five or six shots any given year. The spire third from the left on the top row took a bit over three hours to photograph. The fireball would go off randomly and when it did it would wash out the color on the spire itself. I had to wait to capture it as it was dissipating. Then when everything was perfect somebody would step in front of the camera. :D

I make 1000 of each design and package them in fours. Last year I went to eight images or 2000 packs. I decided that was too many. I can give out about 1200 any given year. ;) I hand them out individually as I meet people. It is a lot of fun.
[doublepost=1559238111][/doublepost]Oh, and the Space Whale in the lower right is now a permanent installation in Reno, NV. The art car behind the Space Whale was called El Pulpo Mecanico. The year of that image was the last year for El Pulpo. It was dismantled and parts of it returned last year as new art car.

It looks like most of the videos are missing from the official site, so...

Did I mention that the art at Burning Man is amazing?

Thanks!

God damn it man! They are superb! I can't believe they were shot on a Nikon! (@Apple fanboy :p)

Thank you! They may be Nikon but I do my best to make them Canon bland beige when at the burn. You've seen the infamous picture. ;)
