totally cool
This week's theme is Silhouettes.

From the first cut outs my mom got of my siblings and I at DisneyWorld to dark figures against a bright sky, I've always thought the silhouette was very expressive. Show me your best shot that exemplifies this.

Rules:

Be creative and have fun.

You may only submit one photo per contest.

Please do not comment on photos until after the judging has taken place.

The contest runs for exactly one week, starting NOW! (see time/date stamp at the start of this thread.)

At the end of the week, The Judge (last week's Winner) will choose a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place photo, providing as much feedback as possible. (Judge has 24 hours to make decision.)

The 1st place Winner will start a new thread with the topic/theme of their choice, and act as the Judge for that contest. (Winner has 48 hours to create new theme, after that it defers to 2nd place).

Good luck!

Because Spring has sprung DownUnder and who doesn't love a sunset at the beach?

So, I liked this one because my brother in law and I went to The Kelpies near Kilmarnock. They are 26m high statues of horses heads for those unfamiliar. While there, I got this one of my brother in law "idget fidgeting" with his camera and thought it kind of looked cool with the horse head coming over the "stable door"...

Well, that was the idea at the time anyway....

Pretty sure I have shared the color version of this image here before, but the only image i can think of that fits the theme. No time to shoot something new. Busy with work, and moving.

Well, as a future contestant (still working on ideas), I would have no objections, as others including myself have substituted in a more cheeky manner without asking first :)

But please, to give the rest of us a chance, make sure the new photo is from your worst Photoshop creations thread :p

Cheers :)

Hugh

Yeah of course change your submission. Nothing's set in stone until the contest is over. Like Hugh says though - make sure it's a crap one ;)

thanks guys!

I've already changed my mind within 5 minutes from submitting at the beginning of the contest, but more than a few days have passed since that happened. anyhoo, I think I might let you down on the ***** aspect :D

I should wait for the judge to lean in on the matter before ramming it in

Go ahead, no reason why not. As MacRy says, no problems until the contest closes. :)
