@Soba; @DeltaMac; @Nguyen Duc Hieu, Hello all, just want to check, is there a way to combine those hard drives installed at slot 2/3/4 into one logical drive here? For example, have SSD installed on slot 1 and use it as system drive, install 3 1TB drives on slot 2/3/4, and combine these 3 into one 3TB logical drive? Any possible? Thanks again!

If you mean in Windows 10, you should certainly be able to. Here's a quick tutorial:

Be sure to keep good backups if you're storing anything on the RAID array that you don't want to lose.

Tried it yesterday, but it gave the error like: failed due to hard drive connection, please try again...

No ideas what that means, those drives are physically connected well, and it shows up on drive management menu. Have you seen this type of error in the past? Thanks.

Could you post a photo of the exact error message?

Tried it again today, surprisingly it works now, no ideas why it didn't get through in the past 2 days but succeeded today, really strange. By the way, if "delete volume" option is grey out on the physical drive (not the system C drive) after it is formatted, what could be the reason? And how to enable the "delete volume"?

That volume holds the Windows page file, so the volume cannot be deleted. If you change the location of your page file and reboot, you should then be able to delete the volume. Check here for instructions on where to find these settings:

You must choose another drive for the page file, then set the size of the page file on the E: drive to 0. (Make sure there is a page file on a drive other than E. Windows will not boot in some cases if there is no page file.)

Thanks a lot, will try it tonight.

Got the page file changed to C drive, and able to do volume deletion on drive E now, however, try to append drive E into the storage drive made previously but failed with error, see image uploaded, that’s the similar error message got when making the initial storage drive. Any thoughts?

When you receive an error like this, your best bet is to Google it using quotation marks so you can find others who have previously encountered (and hopefully solved) the same problem.

This should help:

At this point, these issues aren't really Mac Pro-specific and are more Windows problems, so I suggest a more Windows-focused forum for future troubles of this nature. There is a Windows forum here on MacRumors, also.
