Oooh, very interesting. I'm also curious if other flights exist other than those listed (as meagain has heard hers is going through Indy).

I'm in Atlanta so Memphis would be faster, I'm thinking.

Yep, you and I are both sitting here in GA only one state away. I swore I wasn't going to stalk FedEx this time, and here I am! LOL! :D

And now there's been another flight added to Newark, NJ! I gotta stop this-my head is spinning! No doubt those of us in the south are getting ours by way of Memphis, though.

Another GA here.

I ordered mine on Oct 21st.

iMac 27" 2TB 8GB RAM

Super excited, I too am waiting for Friday!

still sitting in anchorage.. come on fed ex! I'll tip the driver if I get it tomorrow!

Good, then my i7 should be here tomorrow woooooooooooooooo, could you tell me the time the flight for Newark departs from Anchorage?

(I'm in NJ, and it's a tiny state)

I'm out and about right now, but if you go back a page or two, I posted a link to the flights leaving Alaska and the NJ flight is listed-here's to all of us hopefully getting our iMacs sooner than later!

Enjoy the cold weather in Alaska for now my little machine, you are going to be experiencing lots and lots of heat for the next few years. (Actually, I heard that these machines don't run too hot.)

How do I find out which fight will be for New York. I also order and i7 and it is in ANCHORAGE, AK arrived at 10:03 AM (Alaska Time) flight 84. Thanks in advance.
hope I get it tom. :D

My iMac was definitely through some cold weather. It was FREEZING when I unboxed it. The computer was a lot colder than it was outside my house. I waited awhile for it to warm up before I let my wife press the power button.

Nicroma - I was thinking that just a bit ago. Letting it warm. Thanks for the reminder.

My Indy plane is 12 minutes behind the Memphis plane.
Indy plane is running 501 knots. Memphis 493 knots.

I may catch up! I have a faster driver.

LOL, I didn't realize so many people would start tracking the planes after I figured out what plane mine was one. It was just as much fun waiting for me. I hope you get yours tomorrow! They really zipped mine through Indy after it touched down.

Letting it warm up??? Are you joking, or is there something to that? Either way, I don't have the patience. Just imagine, you turn it on cold, hear a POP and then nothing... I would go running into the street screaming.

Nicroma - do you have your itinerary handy? I'd love to see how yours went down to compare especially since yours went to Indy also.

I make the drive between the destination and local facility often and I'm telling you, that truck driver was haulin' ass. It normally takes at least an hour and he made it in a truck and had it scanned at both facilities within 56 minutes, LOL.

Great title for this thread... reads like a title for a mystery thriiler. Ought to compile all the posts about Flight FX84 from the other thread and turn it into a short story... the climax is still building and the final chapter is called "Out For Delivery"....:D
