Yes. 3:53pm Local scan time - "departed FedEx location" in AK.

Hmmm.... I think I'm on Flight 22 to Indy which means it arrives around 1:22am. I'm nervous. Worried I won't get it in Chicago area tomorrow.

Mine left headed for Memphis (I presume) scanned departing FedEx location at 3:27 pm...anybody else?

I make the drive between the destination and local facility often and I'm telling you, that truck driver was haulin' ass. It normally takes at least an hour and he made it in a truck and had it scanned at both facilities within 56 minutes, LOL.

Thank you!

So my "departed" AK time is an hour earlier than yours. My fear is you are IN Indy and I'm in Chicago. Hmmm.... I'm still hopeful. I just have such issues/history with FedEx not even finding the house, hanging onto the package, and not contacting me, etc.

Seriously? I cannot wait for my iMac to ship but I think you guys are freaking out a little too much. Tracking flights? HA! Let's hope no one starts stalking their FedEx person...

Maybe I'll want to track flights when mine ships...

Just found a flight from Alaska to Oakland hub... Flight FX86 and arrives at 9:24PM PST.

Edit: Just posted Departed at 4:48 Alaska time which matches FX86...

Anyone venture to guess if I have a shot if this package arrives at 1:30am in Indy if I'm in the West Chicago burbs? My prior enthusiasm is waning a bit. It's probably a 1-1.5 hour flight. I "assume" it'll fly from Indy to Chicago?

Gosh and so much processing.

EDIT: Wait. LOL It's due in at 1:22am EST. Which means 12:22am My time. I just got another hour. :D

Well if we had our systems I'm sure we could find a better use of our time....maybe running benchmarks? :D

Mine just now shows having left Alaska at 5:48pm Pacific. Looks like Oakland tonight, and maybe delivered tomorrow while I'm on a plane to DC. So my wife will sit here and state at the box all weekend...

As far as I can tell because I'm comparing the shipments from my iPod and my remote, my iMac should be here tomorrow. (I live in NJ and the plane lands in Newark, NJ at 2:30am!) The only thing is that it's super rainy out and will be all day tomorrow as well, so the plane should be delayed at Newark and, drivers will be slower. I've got faith though....even though the estimated delivery date is Tuesday!

Gotta say -- never in my long experience with Fedex have they ever delivered a package before the estimated delivery date.

I'm expecting mine Monday. If it shows an arrival scan at the local hub, that means it's been removed from the main pallet and can technically be picked up. It's a pain in the ass, but you can talk Fedex into letting you pick up the package, as long as the shipper (Apple) allows a pickup at delivery. So theoretically, Sat. pickup from the depot is possible.

But delivery on Friday? Doubtful.

Mine left Anchorage at 3:11 PM, not sure if it's on FX14 to Indy (3:14 PM departure), FX64 to Memphis (3:31 PM departure), or even FX98 to Fort Worth (3:59 PM departure). Ultimate destination is in Kansas. Guess I'll find out when I check tomorrow morning.. all of those flights are scheduled to arrive after midnight.

Fingers crossed that it will actually be delivered tomorrow and I'll have the weekend to migrate my stuff from my iBook.

I have the same departure time but checking the FedEx flights from Anchorage to Memphis the closest one I see is Flight 6 which departed at 3:58 PM scheduled to arrive in Memphis at 1:02 AM tomorrow morning.

Now I see the Flight 22 did depart at 3:53 to Indy with arrival time of 1:22AM. so we are going to Indianapolis I am in MA so it looks like the northern states go to Indy and not Memphis.

Nicroma, did you get 2 day or next day?

I have received many items before the delivery date from FedEx and many from Apple. In fact I have a FedEx account and many of my shipments are delivered ahead of schedule.

Most of the people on this thread originally had a Friday delivery date but due to a delay in China they changed it to Monday. However, the units are now positioned to allow for overnight delivery and I am sure many will be delivered tomorrow and in line with the original date of 11/13.

I don't think Apple allows for pickup until at least one delivery attempt.

I've never had them deliver before the estimate due date either. Almost like they slack off cuz they 'can'. I called and FedEx stated I cannot pick up because the shipper doesn't allow it. IDK how accurate that is but given it's a $2k plus item - it sort of makes sense?

Mine too Pie... Looks like ours are on the same plane :)

I will say that if stuff ships out of Memphis by tonight, I will usually get it that same day. Not sure this will make it :(

Was on Flight 84 as well!

This is the first time I've ever tracked a package with the utmost diligence! I thank all of you guys/ladies for putting the excitement out there!!! This is really fun! :D

Anyway, my FedEx tracking says Departed Alaska around 4:48pm...and in looking at the flight tracker, flight 86's departure to Oakland was at 4:46. I've gotta believe my i7 is on that flight...so to all my traveling package buddies..."PAAAAAAARTY PLAAAAANE!" Anyone have extra drink coupons?? haha

Flight is scheduled to come in at 9:24pm. I'm in LA so it has to make one more flight before delivery. I hope it can still make it for Friday.

Mine is on that Party Plane... I imagine a flight to Las Vegas via LA is in order... I am not aware of any direct FedEx flights from Oakland to LV..?

I see zero FedEx flights from Indy to Chicago. Zero.

How the heck are they going to get it to me then? Must be on a plane right but just not a dedicated FedEx plane?

Chicago is a lot closer to Indy than Boston...I think you have a good chance at it.

Looking ahead, FedEx has a flight out of Indy destined for Boston at 6:46 AM with Arrival at 8:41AM. That is touch and go unless they did a direct delivery from Boston which has happened in the past. If they go to the local FedEx hub in S. Yarmouth I am definitely eliminated.

Gasport - Your iMac probably is going to the Newark hub. I'd think.

Better hope it is not American Eagle.
