I make the drive between the destination and local facility often and I'm telling you, that truck driver was haulin' ass. It normally takes at least an hour and he made it in a truck and had it scanned at both facilities within 56 minutes, LOL.
Seriously? I cannot wait for my iMac to ship but I think you guys are freaking out a little too much. Tracking flights? HA! Let's hope no one starts stalking their FedEx person...
Maybe I'll want to track flights when mine ships...![]()
Yes. 3:53pm Local scan time - "departed FedEx location" in AK.
Hmmm.... I think I'm on Flight 22 to Indy which means it arrives around 1:22am. I'm nervous. Worried I won't get it in Chicago area tomorrow.

Gotta say -- never in my long experience with Fedex have they ever delivered a package before the estimated delivery date.
I'm expecting mine Monday. If it shows an arrival scan at the local hub, that means it's been removed from the main pallet and can technically be picked up. It's a pain in the ass, but you can talk Fedex into letting you pick up the package, as long as the shipper (Apple) allows a pickup at delivery. So theoretically, Sat. pickup from the depot is possible.
But delivery on Friday? Doubtful.

Mine left headed for Memphis (I presume) scanned departing FedEx location at 3:27 pm...anybody else?
This is the first time I've ever tracked a package with the utmost diligence! I thank all of you guys/ladies for putting the excitement out there!!! This is really fun!
Anyway, my FedEx tracking says Departed Alaska around 4:48pm...and in looking at the flight tracker, flight 86's departure to Oakland was at 4:46. I've gotta believe my i7 is on that flight...so to all my traveling package buddies..."PAAAAAAARTY PLAAAAANE!" Anyone have extra drink coupons?? haha
Flight is scheduled to come in at 9:24pm. I'm in LA so it has to make one more flight before delivery. I hope it can still make it for Friday.
Anyone venture to guess if I have a shot if this package arrives at 1:30am in Indy if I'm in the West Chicago burbs? My prior enthusiasm is waning a bit. It's probably a 1-1.5 hour flight. I "assume" it'll fly from Indy to Chicago?
Gosh and so much processing.
EDIT: Wait. LOL It's due in at 1:22am EST. Which means 12:22am My time. I just got another hour.![]()
Chicago is a lot closer to Indy than Boston...I think you have a good chance at it.
Looking ahead, FedEx has a flight out of Indy destined for Boston at 6:46 AM with Arrival at 8:41AM. That is touch and go unless they did a direct delivery from Boston which has happened in the past. If they go to the local FedEx hub in S. Yarmouth I am definitely eliminated.
I see zero FedEx flights from Indy to Chicago. Zero.
How the heck are they going to get it to me then? Must be on a plane right but just not a dedicated FedEx plane?
