Remove pull down for Spotlight. Swipe let to right for Spotlight is sufficient. I trigger the pull down by accident all the time and it's annoying.

Also, ability to remove photos from Favorites in phone app and remove photos next to texts in iMessage (toggle to turn photos off, like in iOS 8)

I trigger Spotlight by using swipe to left, and I find it annoying also. :)

I don't know if anyone mentioned this yet. But I can't stand that I can't change between 4K and 1080p video or 1080p at 120fps to 720p at 240fps from within the camera app. I think it's a hassle having to go in to the settings to change this.

Same experience and happening to me with iPhone 5s and iPad Air. I only have a few little gripes with iOS 9 thus far on my devices, and like 9 much better thus far than any 8 version, but this glitch is annoying me... I'm chalking it up to something new in coding with 3D Touch and the lack thereof on my devices. So, over the last few days I've found if I'm more deliberate/longer with my next press/tap the next app will launch right away more times not.

I'm noticing it off and on when using iMessage. I'll finish typing my message and hit send right away and it doesn't register the tap. This is on air 2 using 9.0.1

This.

Thankfully you can fix this by turning off Siri suggestions (Useless anyway) and turning on Reduce Transparency. But I shouldn't HAVE TOO.

Not being able to delete individual notifications in NC. I can only clear the whole lot at once now.

Swipe left on the notification and you will see a little circular X button for clearing it individually. (for text messages the X is to the left of the mute and reply options)

It's been like that for some time, at least since iOS 8 if not 7.

I mean things like Ebay reminders, calendar reminders and I have a Bartlett's quotes app which displays a daily quote in NC. In iOS8 and prior there was a cross next to each entry and I could delete them individually. Now there are no crosses, just the 'clear all' function.

Pretty sure iOS 8 didn't have them by each notification by default (you can still slide each one individually to clear it like you can now). What was in iOS 8 and prior is that notifications were grouped by apps so that there would be a clear button for each app group--if there were 5 new emails they would be grouped under Mail and there would be a clear button for that whole group. You can have that in iOS 9 as well if you set your notifications to be grouped by apps like before, or have them grouped by time (basically by day) where you can clear them individually or a day a time.

It's not mails or messages I'm talking about, they're easily cleared. It's the third party app notifications (also Calendar) which used to have a tiny cross next to them and now they don't. I haven't had any since to try the swipe theory but if that works then things have definitely changed since iOS8 because I use (and clear) these notifications daily. I definitely remember how they were up to 36 hours ago.

Any chance you might find a screenshot of that that shows it, I'm curious what you are referring to exactly as I don't recall what you are describing (vs what I described about grouping of notifications).

I'll take a screenshot tomorrow when I get the next raft of notifications. :)

*Edit to add:
I've just set a 'test' calendar reminder and the system has definitely changed, for the better now I must say. Instead of an alert in the middle of the screen it now comes at the top of the screen like an SMS notification. When I went to the NC the little cross which was next to the reminder in iOS7 and 8 is now missing, but if you slide left you can now snooze the reminder or delete it from NC. So all is well.

I really hate:

  • The swipe to left for the search. I want only one screen.
  • The 4x4 Folders for the iPad. I don't have such much apps in most folders. It looks stupid compared to 3x3.
  • I deactivated the slide over feature because I activated the slide over unintended very often
  • Some PDFs which have a high compression are very slow in rendering (1 to 2 sec until the page is rendered) - with iOS 8 it rendered instantly!
  • The overall performance on my iPad Air 1 seems to be a little bit more laggy than on 8.x. Apple promised an performance increasement but the opposite happened.
The only good features on iOS 9 is the content blocker, the video overlay and the new back button.

On the apple watch there is a red dot at the top to show that you have a notification. WTF can't IOS on iPhones/ipads have this functionality?!

WHY?!

Don't they have that in iOS as in badges for apps?

I usually just acknowledge/clear the notification from the Notification Center rather than opening up each individual app that has a badge.
Right. So that seems to be available in iOS. Unless we are talking about something else.
