I do enjoy Bushmills on ice. I think we only mixed it because we weren't going to be awake long enough to sit up and sip on it. I think I fell asleep about 6 sips in anyway. I could see where someone would find such a mixture blasphemous, but it wasn't bad.

I'll see if i can find the Black Bush -- I don't think I saw it when we got the original.

For what it's worth, I probably don't have a discerning palate as I didn't start drinking until sometime late last year. Though my boyfriend was the one who mixed it and he's a culinary student -- I hope that he has a developed palate!

You win. I love that stuff. Gotta pick up a bottle as we're all out of scotch here at the moment after I finished off the Laphroaig.

Currently sipping a nice but pretty inexpensive Côtes du Rhone I got at Trader Joe's. We may be out of single malt, but the wine collection is strong at the moment.

Right now, I'm drinking a 12 oz. bottle of Budweiser. Not exactly the best beer around, but it's decent. I've had about 4 or 5 of these and a Michelob Lager and needless to say, it's a bit harder to type.

I prefer Heineken or Guinness, but Bud is cheap and we've just moved into a new house, so gotta conserve money right now. It's all good, though.

Just realized that this is in the Picture Gallery section and I don't have a pic, but I'm sure you all know what a 12 oz. bottle of Budweiser looks like.

It's one of my faves.I always try and keep a bottle on hand..An old standby.Never lets me down..Not the most expensive,but sooooo smooth

Props to you for publicly admitting you're drinking a Budweiser..

It's hard to get good beer around here, living in a very small town and all. I grew up drinking pretty much exclusively Budweiser, so it doesn't bother me at all to drink it, even if I'd like to have something better. Plus, it's only like $5 a six pack.

EDIT: I felt compelled to come back and edit this post. I went there for a couple of months drinking mostly Heineken and Lowenbrau and I made the horrible mistake of buying a 12 pack of Budweiser. (As I said before, it's cheap....) Big mistake. God, that stuff is horrible. You definitely get what you pay for. That stuff is gross. I very seriously doubt I'll ever willingly drink it again.
