More then Words - Extreme.
We didn't start the fire - Billy Joel.
I want to know what love is - Foreigner.
Africa - Toto.
This is very close to my favorite Beatles album. I have a hard time declaring a true #1 with them, since there are several top notch albums and sometimes my choice depends on my mood or the weather."Revolver" by The Beatles.

My second favourite Radio head song. Love it.
Will check it out later.Nuno Bettencourt is one of the 5 biggest influences on my guitar playing when I started. I've branched out since then, but that guy is still bloody good.
Okay.. I was 16 when this song was released. There was actually a movement in my hometown to ban this song. Yes, it was in complete and total jest, because there was nothing malicious in their attempts.. just the fact that this helped kids my age at that time cheat in their World History class!
Lou Gramm was great on this song, but I prefer his work on Inside Information instead. 4 will always be their classic album, but man, that guy had chops.
And finally...
Someone mentioned Andy McKee before. While the original is wonderful, I never really bought it. Then I heard the following cover, and added both of them to my original/cover playlist. Did the same with adding his version of Tears for Fears' Everybody Wants to Rule the World. To be able to create all of those parts (guitar, keyboard, percussion and lyrics) on just the guitar, is phenomenal.
You know what.. Enjoy!
BL.
I listened to Telegraph Road earlier. Great track. What can one follow a day (and/or evening) of listening to The Beatles with?
Dire Straits seem right, for a variety of reasons, just now.
One of my favorites and one that kicked it off for me and Mastodon. Killer band and if you ever get a chance to see them live they sound incredible!
Mastodon - Blood and Thunder
I just got their new one.
I can't believe this but I do like them.
The second half of Abbey Road is still fresh and wonderful, all these years later.
And Rubber Soul (a most unfairly under-rated album, in my opinion) stands the test of time, too.
Sgt Pepper's next, followed by Revolver.
Shall finish my Beatles trip down memory lane by losing myself in the White album.
