Listening to my Tom Petty playlist today. He's in my top 3.😊
I never liked him or his clothing choices but that is not the point. He was huge many years ago but then seemed to completely disappear. I think he refused permission for Apple Music and Spotify to use his catalogue. He obviously had piles of cash so perhaps he just quit.
I'm not a big fan either. But I'm in mid Tenn and inundated with country music ad nauseam.
Did he ever relent ? Is he on iTunes now?

FWIW, that's what Google said. Then there was the bit about his outfit and some sexual charges that never amounted to much. My mother had a crush on him years ago ( 😂 My father died in 1986 and she never so much as had coffee with another man) and she and I listened to Garth a bit while I was going through my divorce. This song just happened to be on a playlist I was listening to and not even a song of his that I am particularly fond of. I was perusing the forum while listening to music and said "I'll post the next song in the "What are you Listening to Thread"..it was Garth.

If anybody is interested, this is my Beatles playlist. About as close to their full catalogue as you can get on YouTube. Also includes all the music videos I could find, and a bunch of each of their solo stuff. I curate it and try to keep it up to date and organized, adding stuff I find here and there. I've added a lot of stuff since I made the playlist and it still needs some organizing at the end, but the album part is pretty much complete. I'll finish organizing it someday.😊

It's ok if you like him buddy.
And I do! Must be over 40 years old and still sounds pretty good, especially the abuse it was put through during my young party years.
