Excellent choice; I'm also partial to the music of both Nina Simone and Peggy Lee (and, of course, the haunting music of the immortal Edith Piaf).
Two songs by the great Woody Guthrie and a song by Chumbawumba - common element is all three have a word that rhymes with "Yahtzee" in the title, on a "nasty" subject.

While I love the Beatles (and have long loved the Beatles), my feelings for The Rolling Stones are somewhat more ambiguous.
Nevertheless, - and this is what I have just been listening to - there was a time (when I was 16) when I was quite taken with Sympathy For The Devil, the beat, the drive, the development of the song, the sensational lyrics, the deadly, and lethal, and all too knowing, cynicism.

Mozart's music is a sort of food - a balm - for the soul, isn't it?
I find classical music a bit overwhelming in terms of all the composers and styles, the sheer vastness of it. I'm ever learning, and gladly doing so. I've spent the past hour at least with Mozart, and it's been magical. Hard to imagine the likes of these composers, who can probably hear all this in their heads, and just write it down. I muck about with music, but what I make is so basic, and not very good. My compositions are so simple, and I find that challenging. I am NOT musically educated. But to imagine the mind of someone who can hear all this! You have to respect it.
I'm harking back to teenage years now, with a much loved album. I never tire of it, poppy, punky, fun. Upbeat. Senseless Things, The First Of Too Many.
