The Dirty Loops, Coffee Break is Over:

I wish Jonah lived a little closer, I'd donate one of my old keyboard stands to him...

I liked it.
Not ground breaking, but I don't expect that from her.
Swift herself specifically said she wanted to do something more akin to 1989 or Reputation. It's not intellectually "heavy" as The Tortured Poets Department but I especially love the first three songs on the album. As such, I feel many critics are getting this album totally wrong because they're trying to compare the new album to the previous album.

Yup.

The first three are probably in my top 5 on there as well.

Miyako does it again, everyone.

One of the two most prolific guitarists of the 80s thrash metal/NWOBHM inspired Japanese female band LoveBites, Miyako, who is also a piano prodigy (started when she was three), had released her first EP, Etude, Op. 23 two years ago, when she took on and rearranged metal song from Helloween, Yngwie Malmsteen, Metallica, and Gary Moore for the piano.

This time, she's back with her first single from her next piano EP. This time, she's taking on Painkiller, by Judas Priest. If you're familiar with the song, you'll hear it all being there. But if you're new.. again, prepared to be amazed. Enjoy.

This video I would consider more of a meme than anything, so I won't post it—but here are the lyrics. Look it up if you want to watch yourself. I think it's maybe the funniest video on the internet, in my opinion. I can't remember when or how I first came across it, but man, it is something.

Looking for a city where we'll never die
There the sainted millions never say goodbye
There we'll meet our savior, and our loved ones too
Come, O Holy Spirit, all our hopes renew

Worked on “Lines of Oppression” today. Hardest one yet. My piano part is completely notated, every measure. All the other ones aren’t so this one is going to take a LOT of outside practice. Director asked me to have all of it mostly together by Monday so I will get on that.
