Any more quilting fabrics, ever. A losing bet though. At least I only buy quarter-yards or precut 10" squares now except for backing fabrics. Quilters have a sayiing that whoever dies with the most fabric wins. I figure I got that one nailed down with room to spare but I do know some local competitors. We're all incorrigible. The struggle to resist is like trying to ditch a jones for chocolate: there's always some new kind seems like it should at least be tried out one time.

An Apple-refurb 2017 MBP from among the selection Apple very recently put up in the refurb and clearance section. Gonna keep resisting for a little while yet. Gotta get that winter heating fuel contract locked in first. Meanwhile I get along fine with a sturdy pair of refurb mid-2012s. Look ma, even an optical drive, and no dongles needed (yet). Plus they're covered awhile yet under Apple Care since it's not that long ago I scarfed them up from the Apple Store.

A gun, but I don't know where to look.

According to CNN, the corner store, with no ID, and 2 dollars...

I'd find an FFL and buy online. Gun stores usually sell for a bit more. There are great deals online, or you can go the used route and find someone local. Even cheaper.

iPhone Edition. My 4S with iOS7 is starting to reject more and more apps, so it is time for an upgrade, but I don't see any need not to just go for the 6S, instead of the Edition, which will likely just provide bling at a much higher price.

The things that I keep myself from buying, in no particular order:
  • An iPod. I always, always meant to buy one. It's the reason I bought my first Apple device (my current phone, my iPhone 4), and I feel like I should have always had one. SO tempted to buy a used one and mod it with flash or SD storage. I wouldn't use it as much as would be needed to justify it.
  • An Apple Watch... I want everything an iPod had to offer in a watch build. We aren't there yet, but I really, REALLY would like us to be.
  • A brand new car. I've always had used vehicles, and my current one has lasted me 11 years. It's time for a replacement, and I am considering new, but will probably buy used like I always have.
  • A surround sound Hi-Fi audio system, with or without connecting it to my TV. I don't have the time to fully enjoy it, so why put the money into it?
  • Cigarettes. Perpetually. I am a recovering smoker, and I have no desire to degrade my health further. However, the psychological imprint of nicotine on my brain has me occasionally wistful, and I have to violently quash my own thoughts down in order to stay on the straight and narrow path.

Galaxy S8+ and Note 8. I've only ever had iPhones, probably an 80% chance I'll get the 8 this time around. More and more tempted every time to try Android though.
