I ordered a pair of armrests: $45.
Plus a real leather seat.

Refurbishment cost: about 50% of the price of a new chair (which was not real leather).

Plus I now have a seat that can be reupholstered as a spare (and one emergency armrest).

Maybe when I'll really need to buy a new ergonomic chair there will be more antistatic models.

Of course, there should be some grounded flooring when you need to use that feature.

I see many people buying cheap generic brand office chairs on Amazon. That looks like a landfill nightmare.

Well, I was sort of, but not really trying not to buy a new car - that didn't work, so maybe I'll try a little harder NOT to buy a supercharger for it ... :D

Holy smokes. I'm not a hardcore cyclist, but the tech/geek/engineer in me still flips out over modern bicycle designs.

Been looking at ‘17 Scat Packs for awhile. Makes no sense, really, as my ‘14 R/T runs just fine. And it’s paid for.
But...

People, please, take the shipping guards off the front airdam ... o_O

You should just skip the 6.4L and head straight to the 6.2L (supercharger included :D), oh, and make it a widebody

Yeah, a widebody ‘cat would be nice. But I’m trying to be sensible here.

A Note 10+.
And, it’s not like I even need the bloody thing. I have a Note 9, and an iPhone XS Max.

See, it is the gadget guy in me...

Debating whether I should buy 2018 Mac Mini or not..

Seems like internet does not have that many eGPU tests done with mac mini, except for the mainstream games (fortnite, pubg etc.) so figuring out the exact performance is hard. Mac mini would be replacing my 2018 13" i7 mbp as a desktop machine and it would be running graphics to 4k display through razer core x & vega64.

The price on 2018 Mac mini is not too bad (around 1250€), especially if you only top up the cpu and have the cheapest possible options for the rest.

You cant upgrade the ssd later your only option is to have something external. Maybe im wrong but I dont think you would be too happy with a 128gb internal ssd even if you had an external to use. anything below 256 that ive experienced has been a pain in the balls.

also compare your vega 64 clock speed to this rx590 spec wise. its less than half the money of the vega 64

Best Buy has a few of these open box across the street from me for about $1600. Always wanted one but is overkill for me!

The 6000 series is amazing as well, but, yeah, that’s a beautiful camera.
[doublepost=1567366716][/doublepost]I came sooo close to caving on a 2019 15” MBP for work this weekend with the Best Buy sale ($500 off base model stacking a couple deals) - then I read a thread here where someone was having a problem with their 2019 keyboard. My current machine Can’t. Hold. On. Much. Longer.

Since it’s for work I am dying for a machine that doesn’t run like molasses, but if I had to bring the laptop in for repair I’d be kicking myself as I’m a business owner and this will be my daily driver (I’ve been using my 2018 iPad Pro and Mac Mini more than I typically would while holding out).

I’d also really like a house. I used the entire downpayment I had saved to start the aforementioned business.

I bought my first Face ID device in 2019 (iPhone). I like that feature so much I miss not having it on my iPad. So, I wouldn’t say I’m feeling any strong urge to upgrade just for Face ID but there is a tug to do so.

I understand. Aside from a Charger Scat Pack, I’m trying to resist buying a new 27” iMac.

My 2010 27” i7 still runs well, thanks to the addition of an internal SSD. But it won’t run an OS newer than High Sierra, the screen resolution isn’t nearly as good as the new ones, and I actually have to type in my password to unlock it. Whereas the new ones open with proximity to the Apple Watch.

Face ID rocks, imho. I have it on my 2018 phone and my IPP, and can’t imagine going back.

The 2014 MB Pro, which I sold to purchase the 12” IPP, unlocked with my AW. Seriously .

Trying to resist the 2019 27" iMac Pro. B&H has it for $2149.00. Currently have a 2011 mac mini and a 2015 MBP I got free from work. I would like a main machine for photo editing and not switch between my laptop for edits and mac mini for casual web browsing.

I test drove a Tesla Model 3 Performance today. Now I want one. My daily-driven Honda CBR650R feels slow in comparison in terms of acceleration!
