Updated late Friday night (early Saturday Morning), went from SHANGHAI CN to MEMPHIS, TN (via Japan). Apple shows a delivery date of 21 Dec, but FedEx says it will be here on Friday, 17 Dec, before 1 PM .Hi All,
Thought I would join the fray! Ordered a Space Gray 16" Max with 32 Core GPU, 32 GB RAM, and the 1 TB (base "high" config) on 20 November. I was given a delivery date of Dec 8 - 15. As of today (10 Dec), it went to "Preparing to Ship" with a new delivery window of Dec 16 - 23.

Second to last update: I finally got an actual delivery date!Arrived at the Louisville superhub.. I don’t know how to shut up
I would consider filing a police report. AND, while I was waiting, I’d strike up a conversation with Apple. EVERY online connection with these computers involves security protocols. Apple knows the serial #. We can easily set our iPhones to self-erase and “brick” themselves. I would want to know what, if any, action they are taking to insure that your laptop is made useless to any potential thief.Got a call from FedEx today, they haven’t talked to the driver yet and have no idea where my package was delivered. So at this point I think it’s safe to assume I’ll never get it - either the driver stole it or whoever he delivered it too decided that they can keep it.
I guess Apple agrees with me - they have placed a replacement order. Thank you, Apple!
Of course it had to happen when Apple is experiencing delays, so it’s projecting January 13-20 delivery now.
Let’s hope FedEx doesn’t screw this one too.
Awesome. Let’s go!!!Finally, my 16 MBP M1max with maxed out configuration that I ordered in Nov 2 has moved up to preparing to ship. I guess It will take several more days to get here. Looks like it'll make it in time for Christmas.
Is your order showing January 28 or orders placed today showing January 28? Asking for a friend who ordered December 2 when the date on Apple.com was Dec 23-30.It seems like even the MBP 14" base model is sold out at numerous resellers in the Northeast USA.
I ordered a 14" base model in space gray from a well-know camera/computer retailer in NYC on November 28th (because it was $200 off list for the Black Friday weekend). It was out-of-stock at the time, with no delivery date specified.
As of yesterday, it's now showing delivery expected around January 28.
For the discount, I'll keep waiting.
I checked a few other places (MacConnection.com, MicroCenter.com, B&H).
None of them had the 14" base in space gray, either...

My 'nearly' maxed out config (just 4TB ssd) also moved to preparing to ship today with the Nov. 2 order placement date. Finally, my 16 MBP M1max with maxed out configuration that I ordered in Nov 2 has moved up to preparing to ship. Wow, that is just awful! One thing is a fixed shipping date six to eight weeks out, but changing that date all the time, first Apple then UPS, postpone after postpone, that is just a joy killer. Man!Ordered 14 Max 32 core GPU 64GB Ram 2TB SSD Oct 18. Got a ‘deliver by’ date of Nov 23. A couple weeks later date was changed to Nov 27. After another couple weeks it was changed to Dec 3. Two days later, it changed again to Dec 7. On Dec 4 I got an email from Apple that they had shipped it and they gave me a UPS tracking #. But for the next SIX days any attempts to track it gave me a message that ‘this tracking number does not exist, enter a valid tracking number.’ Tried live chat with Apple and they just said be patient. it’s on its way, we have shipped it to you. Finally on Dec 10 when I tried tracking again, it gave me a ‘label created’ and Apple updated the estimated delivery date to Dec 14. Two days later while tracking my package on UPS, THEY changed my delivery date to the 16th. The next day UPS changed it again to the 17th. Finally today UPS changed it yet again to ‘we are working to get you a delivery date as soon as possible.’ Apple still shows my ‘deliver by’ date as their last estimated date of the 14th (which obviously didn’t happen) and UPS now shows the message about ‘working to get me a delivery date.’ What. A. Freaking. Nightmare.
I'm in the same boat almost exactly. Was supposed to get it between Dec 1-8th that didn't happen. Apple changed my date to 9-16th and I'm i the "Check back later for actual delivery date" phase on UPS. Hopefully it will be worth the wait.Ordered 14 Max 32 core GPU 64GB Ram 2TB SSD Oct 18. Yeah it’s been the worst online experience I’ve ever had. To make things worse, I finally moved out of ‘we are working to get you a delivery date as soon as possible’ land….with yet ANOTHER delay! Now instead of this Friday (17th) they initially gave me a delivery date of the 21st, before moving it YET AGAIN to the 24th. Somehow I doubt whether I’m getting it the freaking day before Christmas. So beyond ticked off…..Wow, that is just awful! I hope you get it on time. I just moved out of the ‘check back for actual delivery date’ and they moved my delivery date back by another week (from the 17 to the 24th.) Which happens to be the day before Christmas….yeah, don’t think so….I'm in the same boat almost exactly. Was supposed to get it between Dec 1-8th that didn't happen.
