Dead Run P.J. Tracy
Steve Jobs Walter Isaacson
The Great Gatsby F.Scott Fitzgerald
The 48 Laws of Power Robert Greene

Having four books on the go is exhausting, but I can't help but pick up new ones all the time:D I wanted to buy "Inside Apple" but after the four above there is still another dozen or so books on my bookshelf to read through...

This is my only complaint with having a Kindle. It makes it even easier to do that!

How is that. Hillegass typically has some excellent books on OSX programming.

Its fantastic!

I had his original iPhone Programming : The Big Nerd Ranch Guide but upgraded to this version since it supports newer features.

His programming books are so easy to read its like a normal book. The challenges are great too, not too hard, and not too easy.

That being said if you are thinking about getting it, the new version that covers ARC comes out in April. I myself couldn't wait that long so I bought the current version which is now only about $25 on Amazon and Barnes and Noble's websites.

Currently (re-) reading Life, the Universe, and Everything by Douglas Adams for pleasure and Evolution: History of an Idea by Peter Bowler for class.

I'm also in the process of digesting Be Here Now by Ram Dass, which isn't a book that's read once as much as it's just meditative.

An interesting and well-written book. The film/movie adaptation from the 1960s (starring Paul Schofield along with a superb cast, including Leo McKern, Robert Shaw, John Hurt, Orson Welles, Wendy Hiller, among others) is also well worth watching. For a strikingly different perspective (but also very well written) book which covers the same period, I'd suggest that you take a look at Hilary Mantel's 'Wolf Hall'.

Trying to finish up the last hundred pages of What is the What, but The Wire keeps getting in the way.

After that I'll move onto Catch-22 and then Infinite Jest. Have been eager to get into some Russian literature, but still have a backlog of novels I have to start/finish.

Steve Jobs bio
I can never find time to sit down and read :(

Same. I've been on it since Christmas

Once I'm done that I have the following lined up:

Petticus Lore - The Power of Six
Suzanne Collins - The Hunger Games trilogy
Colson Whitehead - Zone One
Tom Perrotta - The Leftovers
Ben Marcus - The Flame Alphabet
Karen Russell - Swamplandia
Emma Donoghue - Room

Ahh, so much to read. So little time. It would be easier if I knew where my damn bookmark was...
